Lovely news to wake up to today! Flowers

OP posts:
Dapplegrey · 08/09/2014 14:08

Mammu - I know, but I was commenting on others' posts as to whether Kate read mumsnet. Anyway, whether she does or doesn't, she's probably feeling too sick to read it today!

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 14:08

Dapple that is unpleasant.

I'm sure, in reality, it is far too 'meta' to read about yourself online like that. I imagine anyone halfway grounded soon learns to resist the temptation. Palace PR dogsbody probably keeps a weather eye though

CruCru · 08/09/2014 14:10

I wonder how many they are planning to have? My perception of very posh people is that they like big families - the Queen had four kids and Kate is one of three. I know that William is one of two but his parents' marriage wasn't happy.

My guess is that they will have three or four in total.

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 14:11

Ha strikeout fail.

I am feeling really quite sorry for any PR intern who has been tasked with wading through this sea of Salmon and Sturgeon filth, if they do exist Grin

CulturalBear · 08/09/2014 14:15

Didn't you know? squoosh IS the Kate Grin

Arsenic - yes, they'd have to learn to resist the temptation particularly as they can't answer back.
I'm very grateful that I'm a nonentity!

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 14:28

Just MNing her bizarre sexual fantasies about scottish nationalists to take her mind off the nausea? Hmm

Makes sense. Do carry on.

PistolWhipped · 08/09/2014 14:31

I reckon it will be a boy or a girl.

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 14:32

(Dapple, I'm sure it's not uncommon to seek proactive psychological advice when you are shot from obscurity to a v high profile.)

somewherewest · 08/09/2014 14:41

I'm guessing they'll have three or four, as would I if I had limitless wealth and an army of nannies and servants Grin. I do dislike the 'oh we're just normal parents ' shtick.

FreudiansSlipper · 08/09/2014 14:41

Thats nice for them. I feel for any woman feeling unwell when they are pregnant so hopefully she will feel better soon

I feel quite sick myself seeing those pathetically waiting outside kensigton palace so they can fawn over William and claim to be ecstatic over the news Hmm

SaltySeaBird · 08/09/2014 14:49

I'd just like a second one. My DD is older than George, in fact we were TTC number 2 before he was born. Can't help feel a bit sad that my DD is unlikely to have a sibling. After two MCs I find it hard to be happy for others pregnancy announcements at the moment.

wol1968 · 08/09/2014 14:57

Maybe they don't want a large family. Perhaps they deliberately planned to have two close together to get the whole awful pregnancy business over with ASAP. I'm quite glad mine are just over two years apart and I didn't spread the pregnancy & childbirth thing over a longer period of time, IYSWIM.

GimmeMySquash · 08/09/2014 15:03

I agree it is not a small gap, I had two under two, it is not that unusual. I also think this will not be the last pregnancy for WillKat.

frankie80 · 08/09/2014 15:11

I reckon it'll be a girl this time and they'll call her Alice, which was Phillip's mums name

love that name

AugustAngst · 08/09/2014 15:29

I think it will be a girl called Mildred.

GimmeMySquash · 08/09/2014 15:42

www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2747681/It-struggle-rewarding-one-Parenting-experts-reveal-Kate-Wills-cope-two-two.html

William said they read netmums, so I doubt they are reading these posts.

ImperialBlether · 08/09/2014 15:51

Mildred, August? Really? Why?

PedlarsSpanner · 08/09/2014 16:04

Imp - as in George and Mildred. 70s sitcom

hyperspacebug · 08/09/2014 16:05

Urgh, HG again - makes me wince just thinking about it. No one should go through it no matter how much help you're surrounded by. Hopefully it will raise profile of HG? I dunno...

SirChenjin · 08/09/2014 16:05

My money's on Peppa

ajandjjmum · 08/09/2014 16:19

August, you're showing your age. And I fully understand!! Grin

TheCunkOfPhilomena · 08/09/2014 16:22

they read Netmums Shock

I do hope Kate has a shiny sparkly ticker with a countdown until her lovely lil womb expulses the next human.

annabanana19 · 08/09/2014 16:28
