hey, al east we are giving her a normal reason to feel sick so she can be like everyone else.

sorry for your troubles farfalla

Brightbutchilly · 08/09/2014 12:51

I wish them well but if anyone in the dark recesses of Whitehall or Downing St release this news with one eye on the referendum then I can only assume they've never actually met any Scottish people...

HesterShaw · 08/09/2014 12:54

Oh goody.

The last time it made me ambivalent about the Royals. I imagine this time it will turn me into a fully paid up and committed Republican.

SirChenjin · 08/09/2014 12:54

I think the chances are they've met a fair few Scottish people. We do, occasionally, travel to that there Lahdahn, and have even been known to hold quite senior positions in Government. Amazing to think.

Beastofburden · 08/09/2014 12:56

Be fair, she was meant to open a building in Oxford and she cancelled rather than vom up all over the new carpet... they had to say something.

HesterShaw · 08/09/2014 12:56

SirChenjin, what REALLY? Do they allow Scottish people south of York then? How does one spot a Scot?

squoosh · 08/09/2014 12:56

I can hide it no longer SquattingNeville ever since Alex has started saying 'sorry pal' to the sausage rolls and 'I cannae' to the cakes there has been a stirring in my loins.............

HesterShaw · 08/09/2014 13:00

Oh God I have just read the last page.

Salmond and sex....NO!!! It would be like fornicating with a toad.

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 13:00

Congrats to William and Kate though-am very much a 'Yes' voter (live in Central Scotland) but I do love a bit of royal news!

You won't be getting any more royal news if you abandon us urban. Oh no.

We'll be putting armed guards on the border to keep it in England, don't you know?

MintyChops · 08/09/2014 13:01

Squoosh and SirChenjin, I am worried about you both......

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 13:01

Hester Grin

I'm quite looking forward to the Private Eye headline. They have set themselves a standard.

SirChenjin · 08/09/2014 13:01

Oh it's easy. We're the ones waving the Saltire, wearing a See You Jimmy hat, and looking around in amazement at all the people Wink

HesterShaw · 08/09/2014 13:03

I thought that would be the case. Presumably you are stuffing yourselves with haggis and deep fried mars bars and yelling "Tha's LEGAL TENDER!" at hapless shop assistants when attempting to use your funny bank notes also?

SirChenjin · 08/09/2014 13:05

Like a little enthusiastic toad, with Nikki Sturgeon looking on and giving instructions in a very stern manner Grin

I think I feel a bit sick.

HesterShaw · 08/09/2014 13:05
Envy
SirChenjin · 08/09/2014 13:06

You know us so well Hester. One homogenous deep fried mass, that's us.

WittgensteinsBunny · 08/09/2014 13:06

Ignoring all the talk of Alex Salmond having sex in adventurous positions and coming like a salmon... Eurgh....

Congrats Kate & Wills, but I can't believe you're stealing my thunder again! I'm 11 weeks pg with dc2 and was 10 weeks when they announced George last time! wonders if she's having the same double buggy dilemma as we are Wink

squoosh · 08/09/2014 13:06

I bet Nicola says to Alex when she's supervising his pumping 'this is very positive but there's still much to do'.

HesterShaw · 08/09/2014 13:07

:o

LittleBearPad · 08/09/2014 13:07

Stop it Squoosh. Please. I'm aching with laughter.

HesterShaw · 08/09/2014 13:07
SirChenjin · 08/09/2014 13:12

I bet she does - and then releases a press statement advising us all on Alex's pumping progress stating that "although independence is not a magic wand cure, Alex's wand sure is magic"

Disclaimer: I added the last 5 words

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 13:13

The bus drivers around Kensington are pretty impatient.

MummyBeerest · 08/09/2014 13:13

How exciting for them...

Now I want one. Sad

With a few of their nannies.

And I can sub in for her Malta trip.

HesterShaw · 08/09/2014 13:14

Do you think Kate's a MNer? Sorry Kate
