Lovely news to wake up to today! Flowers

OP posts:
ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 13:14

I bet Nicola says to Alex when she's supervising his pumping 'this is very positive but there's still much to do'

I've often wondered if Kate reads Mumsnet threads about herself...

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 13:15

X post Hester

It won't be helping her HG, if she is.

duchesse · 08/09/2014 13:17

Woman of Child-Bearing Age Bears Child.

HesterShaw · 08/09/2014 13:17

And she certainly won't be able to shake his hand without wiping it again after references to his well thumbed Kama Sutra.

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 13:18

Ach. I'm sure she's laughing between vomiting. Grin

SirChenjin · 08/09/2014 13:18

Yes, sorry Ma'am to rhyme with jam. In my defence, squoosh started it and made me do it.

God Save the Queen and all of you.

ArsenicFaceCream · 08/09/2014 13:21

You'll soon be safe from the tower SirCh

SirChenjin · 08/09/2014 13:22

SirCh?? I don't know anyone of that name, oh no

HaroldLloyd · 08/09/2014 13:22

Vote yes please and keep Salmon man out of my sight forever.

squoosh · 08/09/2014 13:22

Beggin' your pardon butSirChenjin mentioned his willy, I made no willy references ma'am. I'm from God fearing stock who know nuffin' of willies.

What be a willy?

Beastofburden · 08/09/2014 13:24

They dont have them in scotland. If scotland votes yes all willies north of the border will be confiscated and auctioned to immigrants.

fact.

mammuzzamia · 08/09/2014 13:25

Grin at the turn this thread has taken. It's on Discussions of the Day, too!

I most certainly did not mention his willy - how rude. I mentioned his magic wand. How on earth do you think he's getting everyone to vote Yes?
Abracadabra!!

Personally, I wish he'd just put it away in public.

Infinity8 · 08/09/2014 13:33

The 'supervising his pumping' post has just made me choke on my tea. I had to make a split second decision to either spit or swallow, which seems apt given the subject matter!

(note to self - don't read mn at lunchtime. Even seemingly innocent threads can go awry).

ColdCottage · 08/09/2014 13:36

Less than 2 years apart. That will be tough, though guess she has help. Still a lot to take on.

I feel sorry that such private things are so public. Guess it is part of the job. I do think the press should keep it respectful though.

StepDoor · 08/09/2014 13:44

She's so fortunate that she has so much help and so many people waiting on her and her family. It's no surprise that they tried for another one so soon, for goodness sake, they've got a full time nanny!

DreamingOfAFullNightsSleep · 08/09/2014 13:46

I came on for a quick nosey as it's the first I've seen on this news of a second day royal baby and now I need the brain bleach!

Dapplegrey · 08/09/2014 13:48

Arsenic & Hester - I hope Kate doesn't read mumsnet. Most people are pleased about the baby and say nice things; some say they are republicans in tooth and claw which is perfectly reasonable.
However, twice on boards about the Cambridges and the Diamond Jubilee I've read posts saying the whole family should be lined up against a wall and shot.
I think that is a pretty vile thing to say and imagine reading that about oneself.

Bakeoffcakes · 08/09/2014 13:52

Dapple- report those posts, I'm sure MN would delete them. It's going too far ot say things like that, no matter what your views are on the royals.

Artandco · 08/09/2014 13:56

It's not the smallest gap as some seem to perceive. George is 14 ish months now. My ds1 was 14 months when ds2 was born!

Dapplegrey · 08/09/2014 14:00

Bakeoff - yes I should have reported them. I did post saying what a vile thing to say, and would they shoot the grown ups first to make the children suffer, or shoot the children first so their parents could suffer.
Someone replied to my comment saying that the line-up-against-the-wall poster was being ironic, but personally I could see no irony in a remark like that.

mammuzzamia · 08/09/2014 14:02

But there's nothing like that to report here today

AuntieBrenda · 08/09/2014 14:03

Lovely news. I really like Kate and I'm pleased for anyone who is happily pregnant. Don't like mean spiritedness at all.
