I'm not sure Nel is that amazing and incisive. All he's doing is saying that doesn't sound probable, and he's left things hanging like the jeans.
If you go on and on about a story you're going to make anyone confused or sound a like a liar.

member · 15/04/2014 09:33

Difficult for me to follow in real-time today, can someone explain Reeva's jeans & what Nel was driving at today?

FreeLikeABird · 15/04/2014 09:33

I missed the jean bit today.

Bonnielangbird · 15/04/2014 09:36

Totally agree looking. I expereienced an extremely traumatic event just over 2.5 years ago and I can remember some aspects in amazing detail (the exact words certain people said), other details are sketchy and some I can't remember at all. It goes along with exactly how I have found memory to work. How the hell OP could possibly make that up (back over fence).

Roussette · 15/04/2014 09:41

I agree, if you have ever had a huge shock, certain things just become so real and vivid and other details are just not there.

Chipstick10 · 15/04/2014 09:43

Nel seems very quiet today

SauceForTheGander · 15/04/2014 09:44

My live feed not working at all. Probably for the best. My DCs were being neglected

Roussette · 15/04/2014 09:45

IF ONLY he would just say he is to blame. Why does OP not see this? Surely it's doing him no favours to not accept blame. It's obviously his fault and he can't think of himself as blameless?

LookingThroughTheFog · 15/04/2014 09:46

Can someone start a new thread? I worry about starting threads (for no reason that I can understand.)

MajesticWhine · 15/04/2014 09:47

Trauma affects the way that memories are laid down, so intense trauma means it's difficult for the memory to be recalled in an autobiographical manner and the retelling becomes more like a reliving.

Chipstick10 · 15/04/2014 09:47

So much hanging in the air, I hope nel is not wrapping up

Roussette · 15/04/2014 09:49

I can start a new one but don't want to if JillJ is around?

OneStepCloser · 15/04/2014 09:50

Is that it? I dont think Im understanding how this court works, so many questions....

OneStepCloser · 15/04/2014 09:51

I suppose his job is to lay doubt to his version?

FreeLikeABird · 15/04/2014 09:51

Well that's it from the Mr Nel, so much I feel is still unanswered.

FreeLikeABird · 15/04/2014 09:52

We need to start a new thread, maybe someone who can do links so they can link to thread 1,2 and 3 in the opening post should start it.

Pennies · 15/04/2014 09:54

new thread

Phoenixwoman · 15/04/2014 09:55

Jumping on board after reading this thread, following key bits of OPs testimony and now watching some live feed. It's fascinating but surprised that's how the prosecution wound up. I was waiting for a big theatrical flourish.

OneStepCloser · 15/04/2014 09:55

Pennies, started one, so moving over.

JillJ72 · 15/04/2014 09:55

Hi I'm at work but hurrah can get on mn in my phone to follow your posts. If no new thread yet, I'll set one up now

OP posts:
Roussette · 15/04/2014 09:55

I'm happy to start it but will have to do links to the others one by one as I will copy and paste one at a time as I am not that clever!

JillJ72 · 15/04/2014 09:56

Ah cool, cross posts

OP posts:
Roussette · 15/04/2014 09:56

Phew! Thank you Jill! Much the best option Smile

Roussette · 15/04/2014 09:56

Thank you Pennies.
