Nigel Farage expels entire UKIP membership for bringing party into disrepute

The entire membership of UKIP across Britain – including councillors, MEPs and grassroots activists- has been expelled from the party following a hearing in front of a UKIP disciplinary panel in London.

Details of the reasons for the expulsions have not been disclosed, but party leader Nigel Farage confirmed to the media that it was in response to allegations that the entire membership was full of intolerant, narrow-minded, crackpot dingbats who pretend to be libertarian but in fact simply don’t like foreigners and homosexuals much.

In response to the mass expulsions, the former UKIP membership said they “feel sickened” at the way they had been treated and planned to appeal against the decision.

Immediately after the expulsions, the disciplinary panel members announced they had also expelled themselves from the party for bringing the party into disrepute, leaving Mr Farage as the sole UKIP member.

Yes, good points. It is a difficult circle to square. But that is why Farage said tear up the 2010 manifesto, it is drivel, and it was 400 odd pages long, so he is going to make sure that it is much more concise and clear and addresses core issues.

Nigel Farage has been very vocal on the coalition’s policies and even opposed Labour’s opposition with all that on-air time granted by the media, yet now confirms that their own 2010 General Election is “drivel” – and will start their 2015 General Election manifesto with “a blank sheet of paper”.

Ukip have always said that politically they were ‘different’ to the other three mainstream parties, and going into elections with ONE policy to leave Europe THEY CANNOT DELIVER, is certainly different.

I think Farage's honesty is admirable!
No more spin!

Yeah, the mans a peach, nay an unspun demi-god.

To improve the public’s trust of politicians and all that they stand for, I think that all political parties should issue General Election manifestos totally full of rollocks just to get elected, and revert back to blank bits of paper, when it suits.

Some rollocks in a manifesto is not new, whereas the whole thing is indeed 'different politics'.

‘Honesty’ starts WITH the manifesto, not flip flopping policies when you’ve already got your fan-atics, and now want to appeal to a different type of voter he needs to WIN seats – as who is to know WHICH of Ukip/Farage’s faces then appears in the Uk parliament, when they win those first seats?
