To avoid doing the chores I should be doing I have decided to bake. What madness to put the oven on in this weather. Have beetroot face. About to expire.

I don’t even own a handbag, but I definitely rummage in the changing bag. And the buggy handlebar tidy thing. 😳

I rummage through my handbag several times a day for keys, phone, that 'list' I put somewhere

Had quite a slow but successful morning:
Kitchen cupboard bits tidied
Bedding in wash and now drying
Meals planned
Supermarket shop and put away
Hotspots in living room attended to
Quiche for lunch made

After lunch I'm decorating
Then got ironing to do

Maybe planting out if time!

Located dining table and wiped(could do with a scrub,but at least we can see it for now)

Discard to recycling a shampoo bottle per child.ditto toothpaste tubes.
changed D's toothbrush which looks like he's been scrubbing the sink with its that frayed n little over a month
Wipe sill,radiator and bath panel

Locate surfaces(pile all wash up on hob)
Clean surfaces
Wash up
Clean hob
Sweep floor

To do living room floor needs a wipe over
Lil zoos gf biscuits(another crazy one with oven on whilst melting into a puddle)

I'm always rummaging in my handbag I'm hopeless the thing I want is always right at the bottom!

We've been out to a country park this morning, took the dc bikes and they both rode them for about 1 minute before giving up as it was too bumpy, too hilly, ds couldn't seem to remember how to move his feet . So the bikes went back in the car and dh grumbled a bit about lowering expectations with kids (something I'm well used to as I'm at home with them more!) it was still fun, we had a picnic and an ice-cream all was not lost.

Really need to do home bleugh today but it's just so hot. Dh keeps telling me not to bother and to watch Suits instead (I've just got into it and he's ahead so he wants me to catch up!)

Agh. I am hangry but holding out till dinner

So I did a very small workout (just a warm up really) and tried a tiny bit of yoga. Then I relaxed on the sofa (as DH had taken the three Caglets out for a walk) and was just dozing off when they got home 😭 went upstairs to try unsuccessfully to sleep until Cagletini got hungry, fed her to sleep in bed but by that point I was too awake so I just lay there gazing at the baby and kissing her 😂

Not got much done really. The living room is better but probably won’t last.

Well done re: holding out for dinner Cag. I must admit I find dieting a tiny bit easier in this weather. I haven't felt hungry at all today because of the humidity.

Having said that : supper tonight: cold chicken with rice salad.

Zoo I absolutely love that scene in the nursery with Mary Poppins and her carpet bag! Especially the bit where she wriggles her nose and all the clothes and mess magically tidy themselves up! If only that were reality ... .

Needed considerably more than a spoonful of sugar to tackle dd's room today. I did 30 mins and then gave up.

I then did another 30 mins in boudoir and gave up on that too ... .

Are we all in agreement it's too hot to iron? I usually get some ironing done while the dc are in the bath but...meh. Also I'm not planning on leaving the house tomorrow so who needs ironed clothes anyway?!

I haven't eaten much today either , all I want is a nice ice lolly but haven't got any in. Must order some on tomorrow's food shop! (And the weather will change obviously!)

I have silicon calippo type moulds, I must put some juice in them. We don’t normally buy juice though. I also need to get some baby size lolly moulds so I can make milk lollies 😂

I am feeling quite down this evening but it seems AF is hanging around again so probably not helping. Don’t quite know what’s going on with them. Ugh

zoo I've heard having a tumble dryer really helps with the no ironing, unfortunately I don't have one . But some tips on here recently have helped , not overloading the machine, not leaving washing in the machine...still have to do quite a bit though. But I didn't tonight it was definitely too hot!

I have choc ices now as food shopping just been delivered...they are meant for the dc though ...

Bank holiday nearly over & I'm going to need a rest after it.
Got loads of gardening done, plus days out and I think I might have caught the sun too much today, ended up with a splitting headache.

Quite looking forward to returning to normal tomorrow.

I managed a bath which I really couldn’t be bothered with. I will be so happy having a shower when we move.

Struggling to keep my eyes open! Ds up in the night again after a few nights where he didn't wake ..he wanted a drink of milk, I guess it is very hot. Dd wet the bed early hours and then got up at 6. Dh sorted her out with breakfast and some TV so I'm still in bed drinking a coffee but I'm so so tired!!
