If I could keep up the pace for a whole day I would probably get a signify amount done.i do easily get distracted by the joys of Pinterest/alphabetty and various crappy shows normally food network as it's on in the background a lot

You sure do wake up quick when 6 stone of teen who is almost the same height as you throws open the door with a bang and launches themselves on the bed! Nightmare involving the death of beloved grandma. Slightly inconsolable and muttering about being an idiot is as calm as we have gotten. Problem is when they are in the late 90s and eying up 100 it is not unrealistic to realise that time is short and not on the side for spending it with them, and also that the need to do computer things as a teen can be at odds with spending that time in the right manner. Reality is hard

So going to get moving early although I really don't want to (everything hurts this morning including my nose) so we can give her a ring before school. Also because my to do list is long for today.

Zoo litter picker was from Screwfix. It's a good one (I worked in a Street Cleaning dept for a couple of years so I have no time for some of the wishy washy ones out there)

Today's plan is to empty our "shed" it's actually a huge cupboard off the porch. It's turned into a dumping ground.
Want to get that done before it gets too hot this afternoon so DH will have to get his arse into gear and help me. (He's not lazy but he does like to have a slow start to the day whereas I like to get things out of the way & chill later on)

I have finally managed to speak to someone about the ds vs health vs school attendance situation. They have told him not to come into today so ds is back in bed and fast asleep.

Mum has required tech support this morning - it was a case of we will have to deal with tonight as this will take more time than you have this morning.

So now I can throw clothes on and go deal with the car situation

And non of that was on my original to do list for today ffs!!!! I am only one person, send minions! Tame trained helpful and productive minions

I would like to have some minions.

I have no flying plans for today. The others are already at trampolining and I’m stuck under a hungry baby feeling very hungry myself. Trying to put the effort in to having decent breakfasts (porridge or eggs) and making cereal a rare treat, but it does take time out of the day.

She’s fallen asleep so I need to put her down and get dressed. I didn’t all day yesterday and totally forgot a friend was dropping off a book had to send DD to the door

Badgers later. Need to print off some work they did but they haven’t really finished it as well as they could have. So might need some library time. I hope we do actually have time to come home today .

My mechanic is a fucking miracle worker. Car will be fixed before holiday. I should probably go find out what my original list was but I know the publication will not go out. It happens it is not a major issue. Other than that I have a more realistic list for must be done before sat evening.

Afternoon! We decided to go and see my parents first thing as needed to pick up the travel cot for the weekend so that's one errand off the list! My indigestion or whatever it was has now gone thank goodness , thanks for all the tips I'll remember fennel for next time. Can't believe how painful it was.

Zoo funny that you've made cheese scones as I have literally just made cheese straws which I've never attempted before! They smell wonderful, look a bit rustic though! I might add cheese scones to my list of things to try. Good idea for lunch.

Sand shelves (new house needs lots of work!)

foxes mine loved savoury muffins when little as got fed up of sarnies..
These days a sandwich involves half loaf of bread (sigh)

Yup zoo we get through so much bread. Mostly because of dh tbf but the dc do love sandwiches! I'm trying to have some alternatives for lunch. The cheese straws are delicious I'm really pleased! I'll look up savoury muffin recipes ...not sure dd would go for them though as she'd be disappointed it isn't cake!

Yep I'm having that problem too. But then the phone hasn't stopped ringing, life keeps throwing curve balls and I am just getting to the point where i am ready to run away and say fuck it!

Right going to put laundry on, check email and then get on with work.
