Hello everyone,
Welcome to the Flylady thread for April, where we follow (sort of) the Flylady system with baby steps, missions, daily focuses (foci?!) and decluttering. But more than that, we are a supportive bunch where we share the trials and tribulations of everyday life. We post our to do and ta da lists and chat a whole lot.

Probably not. But there might be policies and approaches that work better to reassure. It goes back to the old saying "if it is private and personal don't write it down" A bloody old saying but still true but still also requiring a consideration to benefit vs risk. Hence why I am considering rather than just jumping.

It is also worth considering this was done to deliberately make woman feel unsafe and shut down conversations and concerns. It has been done to control. So it is also a defience vs risk that needs to be done. And I will be seriously pissed off if they are allowed to win, even if I am pissed off with HQ right now. The bastards must NOT win!

Find some clothes for dc this weekend that will keep them covered but not too hot as they can't put more suncream on until rash goes (according to the pharmacist who was very helpful)) bu don't wantt to be indoors the entire time at least.

See how far I get in this heat...

I can't speak for your area *foxes" but sat is our last hot day in East England I think,so it's only one more day?

Locate and maybe snap pointy stick.heat has completely stolen all motivation I may ever have had,yet in heat we get ants etc so it's more important that j do clear up

Locate missing TV remote

Dinner-baked in pitta with salad,falafel for dd2

Choir for zoolets at church tonight

I hate my phone.how do meatballs become baked?!

zoo just checked weather forecast and it seems to be cooling off next week. I don't mind lovely sunny days and certainly don't want to grumble but would like the dc skin to recover a bit so we can sort of start again with a different sun cream! They desperately need new clothes anyway so just some basic long sleeved t shirts etc will be good I think.

Sorted my new storage- letter rack for kitchen so no more hot spot there, big toy basket type thing for living room / spare room will just have general toys in so can be moved around house. And little baskets for kitchen cupboards- two for medicines, two for spices and herbs, one for things like keys, sunglasses , hand cream on the side for every day use and one for cookie cutters and sprinkles!! Think I need more still tbh! I am pleased with it all though.
Put dd build a bear costume in washing machine which may ruin it but had to be done as we discovered dried on sick on it must have been ds last week not envy. Yuck.
Dh has got home early from work so has taken dd to the shops to buy clothes as above so that's getting sorted goodness knows what he'll come back with he doesn't stick to lists

Oh and dinner here is fishfingers chips and veg - I'm going to be working later I think and too hot for either of us to be cooking much anyway!

Wow Hills just how hot is it where you are? We have a tropical 13 in Glasgow.

20 degrees here and that is plenty hot enough

25 here,cooler than yesterday thankfully.i near wilted to a puddle....

How's things I've, you've been quiet?

I am struggling here. I have a really bad cold (headache, earache, sore eyes, sore throat, chills and painful joints) I just want my bed and it's DS's birthday tomorrow - how am I going to cope

I can't remember if you are UK based.if so it will at least start cooling down outside.i HATE colds on warmer months.theres something about stepping out into cool air when you are all stuffed up that seems to bring a bit of relief(one few good things about cold weather,other than reduces amount charity hawkers on my doorstep not that I don't give to charity,I just don't need people try get me to give monthly donations saying it's only X amount.yeh well that X amount is the difference between if zoolets have enough bread n milk for the week )

On plus side as TV off i can hear birds singing and grey tabby has been rolling at me most of the day,chasing her sister and running around with hair bobbles dangling from her mouth.faur to say she's feeling better on the steroids!!

Free tabby cat isn't rolling,she's TRILLING

I have had a very trying day, due to Caglets being bloody hard work and myself being less inclined to talk to people including said Caglets. Clingy DD leaning on me (because that’s such an easy way to keep cool) and DS being hyper and stimmy. Aaaargh. Thank fuck for oven pizza is all I can say.

still I am going to take paracetamol with tumeric in hot water before bed. It's a bit of a miracle cure but I will sweat like crazy. Nothing new, what with my hot flushes/night sweats.
