Right you horrible lot stop nattering so much nah it wouldn't be fun if you did

So you have wandered into this corner of MN were the fledglings - a long running but very friendly group welcomes newbies and follows the flylady way to try to get decluttered and on top of the boring stuff in order to have more time for the fun other boring but essential stuff

No idea whose turn it was to run the thread this month but here it the thread and we can figure it out from there.

Hello Shannara, they makes sense about Clutterbug and Flylady. I have often wondered based on her love of 15 minutes and some of the other things she says. I think i’ve heard her mention Flylady as well.

Great to hear about jelly for sore throat Hills, I get a few of them and will have to buy some jelly to have ready.

Thanks for links Cotswold. Nice to hear from you again Whispers. Best of luck with internet staying on Bower, sounds as if you have a lot of snow there.

Sorry you feel ill again foxes and hoping that you, Cotswold, SC and any other poorly people feel better soon. zoo, you sound like a lovely neighbour.

More snow fell over night - so surreal this weather! DH is off today so we are planning to walk / sledge down into town for breakfast then sledge back up and no doubt DD1 will want to do some proper sledging.

Sadly we also need to do some kind of home bleugh.

Must get up and get on!

Afreshcuppateaplease · 03/03/2018 07:35

Have woken up feeling sick again. Dh has kindly taken the dc downstairs again and brought me tea. I'm ok if I don't move. I haven't actually been sick I just feel nauseous.

Hopefully after some breakfast I will feel better - the roads have improved round here now I think.

Callmecordelia · 03/03/2018 07:54

Hello new and old posters. Sorry that you are feeling ill Foxes.

Bower - good plan to stay put!

I am fed up this morning. DH was being a dick about leaving work yesterday. Has apologised this morning, but I'm still cross. He was a dick on the phone to me in front of his colleagues too. Angry

Ta da
Ocado shop put away
Cleaned kitchen

To do
Wash on
Take children sledging

Fed up with the snow now.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 03/03/2018 08:28

Callme Flowers.

Dancing is cancelled today so we have another day of this strange snowy parallel universe with no alarm clocks!

Steamcloud · 03/03/2018 09:05

Hi all! Sorry you are still feeling ill Foxes and hope your gum isn't infected Zoo. Get well soon to anyone else that is ailing!

DD seems to have completely recovered and has taken the opportunity of us being in town to invite as many friends over as possible this afternoon/evening Grin. She wasn't so delighted to hear that she is expected to help with the prep though. Smile

DH has a bad case of ants in his pants (he can't cope with being confined to barracks for too long without travelling somewhere) so I've written him a list which includes de-gunking the shower drain and fixing a broken chair. He has suddenly decided that the dog needs an extra long walk Hmm

For my sins, I am doen in a freezing basement, tackling the laundry mountain. Other task today: clear hall of boxes, stop the rot in the boudoir before it gets too bad again, continue shredding in office.

Have a good we everyone and keep warm! Waves to lone hen!

Steamcloud · 03/03/2018 09:07

Sorry to hear about your dh's attitude Cordelia

Steamcloud · 03/03/2018 09:09

Cotswold I am happy to do links tonight/tomorrow if you are feeling grim

FoolandFitz · 03/03/2018 11:56

Another poorly one here. My snow day was spent in bed with a temperature of 38.9c , not able to eat a thing. Am out of bed today but still have a temp, still not eating and with a really sore throat, scratchy eyes and painful ears.

Cagliostro · 03/03/2018 12:07

DH had quite a productive morning getting the kitchen ready for the new fridge (we can’t get the old one removed yet so had to make room), I have sorted some laundry but not fully. He’s working today and tomorrow so a bit of a crap weekend TBH.

I am really sick of all of us being so tired and snappy but I have no idea what to do about it. We’ve not really had this issue before, not for such a long period, it’s really unnerving. I feel like we need to just escape for a couple of days but then I dread coming back to the same day in day out stuff.

cag sounds like you all need a break from routine but that's very hard to do in reality Flowers what does your dh think? Maybe he can help come up with a plan.

I also agree we need a poorly corner! I will bring krispie kremes and ibuprofen.
