Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

Evening all, have been mega busy today.

Had slimming world this morning and lost another 1.5 pounds, 11 till target.

I've hoovered, polished, filled up dishwasher, need to switch it on but dd2 is asleep on me.

Dd2 really doesn't allow me to do much, she's either following me around creating mess or clinging on to my legs Hmm

Kim82 · 29/09/2015 08:30

Morning! Well done on the weight loss Missymoo.

Got a few jobs to do today before my sister comes round this afternoon:

Make beds
Wash breakfast dishes and clean worktops
Sweep kitchen floor (how does it get so dirty so quickly?!)
Clean out fridge
Write shopping list
Go to sainsburys
Go to aldi
Ring plumber
Ring car garage

I'm sure there's more to add to the list but my mind has gone blank for now.

afreshstartplease · 29/09/2015 08:33

Afreshstart you have a good excuse to do nothing. I'd give housework a miss today if I was in the same situation.

So far I've made the beds, cleaned out the fridge, written out the shopping list, been to sainsburys and aldi and put the shopping away. Dd has just gone down for a nap so I'll make a start on the breakfast dishes and then make those phone calls. I also need to check to see if there is enough washing for a full load of anything, I don't think there is yet though.

Kim82 · 29/09/2015 11:14

Kitchen done, phonecalls made. I think I'm done for the day now apart from feeding everyone throughout the day.

afreshstartplease · 29/09/2015 11:37

Toddler appears to have just needed a poo, absolutely fine now and not bothered my her tap like nose

I've done the pots
Emptied a bin
Am making dinner now

Need to run to the shops at some point

Afternoon all, bit of a late check in for me today. Everyone looks busy. Get well soon afreshstart

My list today:

  • wash breakfast dishes done
  • dettol kitchen tops done
  • wipe over the bathroom done
  • make beds done
  • 2x loads of washing done and now on the line

I probably could have done the weekly deep clean of the kitchen or bathroom today but its been another clear blue sky sunny day here and seems sorry to waste it indoors especially as we probably won't have many more days like this for the rest of the year so am making the most of it. Went for coffee and lunch with a friend and then went back to hers to help her carry a table to her car so she could take it to the dump, then we had another coffee at her Smile

Kim82 · 30/09/2015 07:48

Morning everyone, hope you're all okay.

Today's list for me is:

Wash breakfast dishes and clean kitchen
Tidy beds
Clean downstairs bathroom
Mop floor in hall and living room
Dust living room
Do one or two loads of washing
Nip to the shop for the butter that I forgot when I went shopping yesterday
Pay some money into the bank

Kim82 · 30/09/2015 08:42

Breakfast dishes done and kitchen cleaned
Beds tidied
Downstairs bathroom cleaned
First load of washing in the machine

Kim82 · 30/09/2015 08:56

And I've now dusted the living room.

I'll have to leave the ither jobs for now though as I can't mop while dd is awake, she slips all over the place when the floor's wet and I can't go out as I'm waiting for the plumber yet again.

The washer only has about 10 mins left to go though so I can hang that out when it's done and put some more in.

penguinsarecool · 30/09/2015 09:34

You're on a roll this morning Kim. I'm yet to write my to do list yet or do anything apart from making the beds!

Missymoomoo197936 · 30/09/2015 13:45

Afternoon everyone.

Todays list:
Hoovering done
Strip kids beds done
Make the beds nearly done
2 loads of washing done
Cleaned downstairs windows done
Dd 1 brownies later
Looks loads now I've written it down.

Kim82 · 30/09/2015 13:58

I'm done now apart from going to the bank. I'll wait til dd is in bed the nip into town to do it. Dh will be at home so I don't have to take her with me so I can be there and back in 15 mins.

Missymoomoo197936 · 01/10/2015 06:56

Good morning everyone, hope you are all ok.
My list for today:
Buy another christmas present
Strip my bed and make it
Put washing on
Empty dishwasher
Hoover and polish
Clean bathroom

I've paid £50 to my dad already for our holiday.

Kim82 · 01/10/2015 08:15

Morning missymoo. Where are you going on holiday?

Today's list for me is:

Wash breakfast dishes and clean kitchen
Tidy beds
Clean upstairs bathroom
Fold and put away clean clothes in the dryer
Ring the pharmacist about dd's prescription
Sweep and mop living room

penguinsarecool · 01/10/2015 08:26

Morning.

Yesterday i didn't make it back on here but i cleaned the kitchen and agmonst the usual daily bits.

Today i need to take ds to a speech therapist meeting at 1030 so i won't be able to get much done until i return from there.

Missymoomoo197936 · 01/10/2015 12:58

Off to Benidorm for a week in July, can't wait.

Have done:
Hoovering, polishing, stripped my bed, 2 loads of washing.

penguinsarecool · 01/10/2015 12:59

So how is everyone getting on today? I've been the hospital for ds speech therapist meeting then went into town and picked up some bits and bobs in Wilkos. We and ds have both had lunch the pasties we brought in town.

My list:

  • wash dishes done
  • dettol kitchen tops done
  • make beds done
  • bleach the bathroom
  • general tidy up
  • ironing (sigh)
Kim82 · 01/10/2015 14:55

Hi, I've hardly done anything on my list so far. I did the breakfast dishes, tidied the beds and rang the pharmacist but then I ended up going to the shops with dh and then got distracted when we got back scrubbing the extractor fan and all the kitchen cupboard. I'll make a start on the rest of the jobs in a bit, I'm having a rest for now.

penguinsarecool · 01/10/2015 21:19

Kim Least you got distracted from your list with other cleaning tasks hehe

Kim82 · 01/10/2015 21:29

I did manage to fold the clothes in the dryer and I cleaned the bathroom while the baby was in the bath. I didn't sweep and mop the floors though so that will be bumped onto tomorrow's list.

Tomorrow's list (while it's in my head) will be:

Wash breakfast dishes and clean kitchen.
Tidy beds.
Sweep and mop floors (including upstairs bathroom floor).
Go to slimming world (boo, hiss).
Pick up baby's milk and meds from the chemist - also buy anbesol while there as she is teething and I spilt a full bottle of it earlier. Grrrr!
Go to the butchers.
Dust living room.
Hoover bedrooms, stairs and landing.
Put clothes in washer, hang them out, fold and put away when dry.
Go to the vets to pick up monthly flea treatment (expensive buggers).

I think that's it. I'll add more tomorrow if I've missed something.
