Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

Big list tomorrow Kim. Impressed you manage to clean the bathroom whilst bathing little one!

Kim82 · 02/10/2015 09:22

Okay, beds tidied, dishes washed, kitchen cleaned, washing machine on, floors swept (will mop when baby sleeps), I'm now off to weightwatchers. See you in a bit.

penguinsarecool · 02/10/2015 11:21

Morning. I've woken up in a foul mood today for some reason. Just feel like i could bite someone's head off lol. Housework wise i have done the dishes, anti-bac'd the kitchen tops, made the beds, and hoovered round. Not feeling in the mood for doing anything. House is looking ready for the weekend so may take myself outside for a walk in the sun down the shop and get some chocolate and try to cheer myself up lol.

Kim82 · 02/10/2015 11:33

Chocolate is definitely the answer penguin. Don't bother with housework if you're in a bad mood, it'll just put you in an even worse mood!

I'm back from WW (lost 2lb this week), I've been to the chemist, vets and butchers, I've also been to the post office (I knew there was something missing from my list last night), the washer is nearly finished so that can go in the dryer in a minute. Dd is asleep so I'm just about to get some breakfast/dinner as I'm starving and I'll carry on with the rest of the jobs later.

TigerFeat · 02/10/2015 12:45

Can I join? I've been lurking on this thread for a bit and found it very motivating. Finally remembered my MN password so can post again.

I've spent the morning working from home and now have to blast through few things by 3.30 as it's dd's birthday weekend and she has a few friends coming round for tea straight from school. So, on my list for today:

hoover all floors (need to pick up the crap lying all over them first)
put the new net on the Trampoline (have done from yesterday)
turn the living room back into a living room. (Its currently full of boxes).

Not sure I can manage all that in 2 1/2 hours but I will be chocolate-fuelled (Mars bites).

Kim82 · 02/10/2015 14:30

Good luck Tiger and happy birthday to your dd.

I have finally put the clothes in the dryer and mopped the kitchen floor. I can't do the living room floor as dd is awake again and I can't do the hoovering as dh has come home from work, made his dinner (messing up my clean kitchen grrr) and taken himself off to bed. I'll do it later when he wakes up and can watch dd.

Bugger, just re-checked yesterday's list and noticed I am still yet to dust the living room. I'll go do that now...

Kim82 · 02/10/2015 16:58

I've now hoovered the bedrooms, landing and stairs and mopped the bathroom. All that's left is to fold the clean washing that's sitting finished in the dryer and mop the living room once the kids are in bed. I also need to make tea, clear up afterwards and bath the baby but I won't include that on the list.

penguinsarecool · 02/10/2015 18:00

Hi Tiger the more the merrier on here.

Yes Kim chocolate is a good medicine for a bad mood.

This afternoon i did some more washing and tidied ds's room but that was it.

Kim82 · 02/10/2015 18:59

I hope the chocolate cheered you up a bit penguin.

I'm all done now, living room floor mopped, tea eaten and cleaned up after, baby bathed and in bed and I'm sitting on the sofa in my pjs with a glass of wine. This is what Friday nights are for!

Kim82 · 03/10/2015 07:47

Morning ladies, I'm feeling lazy and still lying in bed this morning but I need to get up as I have plenty to do today. I need to

Strip and remake beds
Wash, dry and put away bed covers
Wash breakfast dishes and clean kitchen
Wash school uniforms
Iron the uniforms as I'm out most the day tomorrow
Make a lasagne for tomorrow's tea
Dust living room
Clean downstairs bathroom
Empty kitchen bins
Take kids to library to return books and get new ones
Pin cats down to put flea treatment on

penguinsarecool · 03/10/2015 08:07

Morning.

I've only just dragged myself out of bed aswell too Kim but you're allowed to be a bit lazy on weekend mornings. Today we are going down to visit my Dad then we'll get a takeaway this evening for the rugby game.

My list today:

  • wash breakfast dishes
  • dettol the kitchen tops
  • do some laundry
  • general tidy up

Not sure if much else will need doing.

afreshstartplease · 03/10/2015 08:24

Morning all

Off to a good start today

Living room toys toys put away

Living room hoovered

Good going Afreshstart. I dragged myself out of bed but then parked my arse on the sofa with a cup of tea and baby snuggles. I can't get myself moving today. I will make a start at some point...

afreshstartplease · 03/10/2015 08:57

Ah I miss baby snuggles.

My toilet training two year old just did a poo on the sofa.

So I have cleaned this (obviously) and am now feeling abit disheartened lol

OP posts:
penguinsarecool · 03/10/2015 09:06

Oh no afreshstart. Toilet training is hard work at the best of times. Hope your sofa is not stained.

afreshstartplease · 03/10/2015 09:10

Luckily sofa is black leather

A wise choice with three dc

Morning all, off to work soon, have 2 shifts today and tomorrow but my contract hours start on Friday so I won't be doing double shifts again if I can help it.

I've put a load of washing on, tidied living room, my aim for when I get back this afternoon is get the majority of clean washing away, it's piling up and annoying me.

Back to work at 4-7 then grab a Mac ds for the kids (yes I'm evil according to some on here Grin ) me and hubby are having a chinese but with me being on S/W I need to make good choices Smile

Missymoomoo197936 · 03/10/2015 10:14

Oops and I called Dh hubby, I'm not well on here this morning Wink

Kim82 · 03/10/2015 10:24

I've finally got up off my arse. Dd is sleeping, the other 3 are amusing themselves upstairs so I've done the breakfast dishes, cleaned the kitchen, dusted, put the uniforms in the washer and emptied the bins. I spy a cat so I'm off to attack her with flea treatment...

penguinsarecool · 03/10/2015 10:25

My list today:

  • wash breakfast dishes done
  • dettol the kitchen tops done
  • do some laundry in washing machine
  • general tidy up
  • bleach the loo done
Kim82 · 03/10/2015 10:27

One cat down, two to go. I'm off to do the downstairs bathroom now.

penguinsarecool · 03/10/2015 10:27

Kill those fleas Kim!

penguinsarecool · 03/10/2015 10:28

And kill those toilet germs too! Grin

Kim82 · 03/10/2015 11:18

Bathroom done. I think the other cats know about the flea treatment, they're nowhere to be seen and they're usually sprawled all over the living room at this time is day.

I suppose I had better go and strip and remake some beds.

Kim82 · 03/10/2015 11:52

4 beds stripped and re-made, 2 yet to do. Another cat treated, just need the other to re-appear then that task is over with for another month.

Uniforms in the dryer, first load of bed covers in the washer.
