Having a lazy afternoon, MNing in the garden

So far,

Morning routine - unfucked
Dishwasher - unfucked
Clear away breakfast detritus and put dishwasher on again - unfucked
Dogs - unfucked
Vacuuming downstairs and upstairs -unfucked
Lunch- unfucked
Face pack and redo nails- unfucked

I have a few hours before I collect DDs and am taking full advantage of my time by doing Fuck all for an hour or so plus avoiding sorting through bags of old paper work. That can be unfucked Tomorrow.

How's everyone else doing?

All I've done today is go to shops for food for tonight, put on 3 loads of washing, and make a pot of bean chilli n guacamole.

Well at least the washing basket is empty. Shame OH's floordrobe is overflowing!! If it ain't in the basket I won't pick it up for him

Just need to prep some dough for flatbeds to go with dinner... If I can be bothered that is!

Can I come for dinner at yours comeagain, that sounds really nice!

Just about made it through work today on 4 hours sleep as DD kept popping up every couple of hours. Am going to do something low effort like pairing socks after dinner hopefully.

Crikey it's blowing a hooley here (as my mum would say!). We've lost some fencing in the winds so task for this weekend is to sort that out. If only I knew somebody who was good with this sort of thing I'm sure our fences wouldn't keep collapsing .

Birthday card for DNephew - unfucked
Dinner - totally fucked. NO idea what I'm doing
Tidy DS' room
Take recycling out
Walk dogs
Fill in forms for self-referral to podiatrist. Have been putting this off as it involved weighing myself. Hmm.

comeagain I'm fairly certain it's against the rules of this thread to talk about lovely food like bean chilli with guacamole and home made flatbreads without sharing a recipe!

Oh and I forgot, I phoned cooncil for a new bin as the lovely bin men managed to take the lid of bin whilst taking rubbish away. How nice of them!!

Must happen a lot as lady on phone didn't even argue!

After 2 days of running round doing things for other people and trying to get an important something done I actually managed some unfucking today.

To borrow from Adora, I am declaring this four days of unfucking the entire house.

This is a truly terrifying prospect as most of my cleaning is superficial at best due to giant workload. There are backs of cupboards that have not been touched for years. Who knows what I might find: dead things, Narnia...

Anyway, I have spent the last hour writing the to-do list for the kitchen alone and seriously contemplating not bothering. But no, I must be strong.

Joining thread to give me a kick up the arse.

I see everyone is Unfucking, not just Adora. My acronym decipher is challenged by the magnitude of the task before me.

I'm writing a to do list in my head, then just sleeping/eating/watching TV.

Post night shift blues. Tired and no energy to do anything but mind refusing to let me sleep

Right, I have been to shop and bought supplies. I have procrastinated by watching men cleaning ovens and grouting on YouTube.

My kitchen windowsill is now dazzling.

Bicarb is my new best friend.

top - bottomed my whole entire house today even the wardrobes. .. i now have a big box i need to take to charity shop tomorrow.. and a journey to the tip planned

I have gone through all of our DVDs today and put them in zip pockets.
in the process of getting rid of the empty boxes - everyone has a few broken ones so will offer to friends first then probably Ebay the rest.
and if they don't go by next weekend we'll bin them.
I'm gonna switch to desktop site to post before and after photos.

DH is home for 10 days. that should speed things up.

• some socks.

this took a while. socks are a big issue. DS2 likes DH's socks, so DH gave them to him and bought new ones for himself. DS2 always has a massive drama about socks in the morning so that should be eliminated from now on, which is a bonus. DS2's socks will now be DS1's. I went through the whole lot and chucked away loads of rubbish ones from that pile & DS3's also.

So DH, DS1, DS2 & DS3 are sorted (bar DH's arriving, DS3's next bunch needs taking down from loft, and I need to sew label into all the school socks).

I'm considering my next move while on coffee break
