Anyone want to join me just trying to do the basic stuff ?

Feeling a bit like a failure today! I struggle with the every day stuff like keeping up with washing up, and laundry. Not brilliant at cooking either!

I have been trying to do the baby steps for FlyLady but not sure It's working for me although some days I do the timer thing and that helps.
I have a toddler and an older dc, Not blaming them for the mess, I just find it all hard some days.

DS2 is spoiling my MN time, he has discovered he can 'walk' around in his standing contraption(think babywalker with no wheels). Nothing is sacred, my house needs serious babyproofing.

Right off to start one of Jamies 30 min meals, I already prepped so it might actually take me 30 minutes today!

notso I have got that book by Jamie O but I haven't attempted to cook any thing from it yet. Let me know how you get on.

Today:

Gym and swim
3 washes
Mountain of ironing
Collected trousers from alteration place
Collected paint for hall, stairs and landing
Painted fireplace
Changed sheets
Recharged electric toothbrush (problem with socket)
Dishwasher
Worktops

I think I will have to play catch up tomorrow as it's been a bit manic here with the dc this evening.

Morning all

I didn't check in yesterday, had one of those days when I seriously lacked motivation. Luckily there's not too much catch up to do as DD1 has been at nursery and hasn't had a chance to trash the house!

I like the look of those recipes, might have to try some. I have a nice chocolate courgette cake recipe, will have to dig it out later.

So today:

Clean the bathroom
Change the sheets
General tidy and hoover
Clean kitchen floor

And I'll add some more if that gets done.

Morning all, I am lacking motivation today! I have lots of jobs to get done today.

To Do:
Wash up/dry up (lots)
Put away dry washing
hang wet washing
Go and buy some cat food
Try to get a shower
There are probably more jobs but I can't think of them right now.

Need to:

Buy car battery and lead additive for kit car (don't ask)
Sand down mantlepiece and put another coat of paint on
Iron best tablecloth (slightly lost will to live after yesterday)
Tidy up train set and lego
Throw away dead flowers
