House is feeling really grubby at the mo, not really sure why. Maybe the cats? Or maybe because I'm due to go to ikea (yes bristol one)and want my new storage NOW!

DD is off school sick today, I'd planned to finish off my job application so told her she had to stay in her bedroom all morning so I could concentrate. Is that really mean?

No freak I don't think it is mean at all. When we were poorly we had to stay in bed at least to begin with. Day 3/4 of a flu- type thing we were allowed to come down onto the sofa with a duvet. You get better faster if you rest properly.
Plus no bad thing for her too see that sometimes you have important grown-up things to do.

We are still fairly organised here, need to do a bit of housework in the morning to stop things sliding into chaos again though. I am thinking about a cleaner again.

Oh JKS - yes delivery is free always if you spend over £50. IIRC Christmas week deliveries you have to spend a minimum of £90, but delivery is still free.

The weather is really weird. Walked DS1 to preschool with his coat on, and then on the way home no coat and he was still a hot, sweaty little person when we got home!!

Plans have rather collapsed. Takeaway is on route. Why the fucking hell won't DS2 nap when he is tired??? Raaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.

jks, none of us has been great at keeping up with the thread lately!

Went to ikea yesterday, built all the furniture and mostly put stuff where it should be.

DD was sick again this morning after 2 days of being completely fine

Today I've been rearranging my kitchen. It's hard going though and is SO hot in there atm so I've kind of ground to a halt, need a kick up the arse! Also need to put stuff back on shelf in understairs cupboard where kittens knocked it off and sort my wardrobe (which has all the crap in it like suitcases, airbed, a million loo rolls etc).

Maybe I'll do my wardrobe and other bits in the dc room now and finish the kitchen later once it cools down a bit, will mean I have lots of unfinished bits though...

Freak - Ikea trip sounds worthwhile :)

Achieving nothing - watching a daytime movie whilst eating pizza! Have been on an hour long walk with a friend to try and encourage baby to come and fed DD lots so allowing myself some laziness.

Feeling a lot better about my house now I have the downstairs storage sorted
Still need to do my wardrobe but it's hard at the moment because it has a lot of baby stuff in waiting for the next sale I do. Once I get rid of those boxes (and cure myself of my compulsive loo roll buying) I'll have alot more space and it'll be easier to organise.

Good heavens Freak - you might not post a list very often but that is a whopper!!

DS1 has regressed massively with the potty training :( He had a few accidents at preschool last week, which seemed to be down to him being to absorbed in what he was doing and not giving himself enough time to get to the loo. But then over the weekend at home he has just been weeing wherever, and now this morning a poo in his pants. Grrrr and also :( because it makes me think that something is upsetting him but I don't know what.

Ummm don't know what to suggest for ds. DD has only been reliably dry since this summer though and she's 5! And both dc still wet at night.
