I need a mega list tomorrow, we've only been home an hour and chaos is everywhere. Possibly got friends coming over, and I need to put name labels on DS1's stuff really for pre-school start on Wednesday. Argh.

Can I join you please? Do you do a free trial membership? Wink

I'm struggling to keep on top of the basics at home. I tried my own version of FLY but couldn't get much further than about day 7 of the Babysteps. Blush

I'm a SAHM so I should have plenty of time, but I have a 15 m.o. DS, a chronic MN addiction, I'm sloooooow at doing everything and often nap when DS does, so I struggle to get anything done.

Today's list so far:

Up, dressed & washed DONE
Breakfast DONE
Clear up after breakfast
Put away dry laundry
Run washing machine x2 DONE
Hang out washing x3 DONE X2

Finish yesterday?s washing up
Prepare lunch & dinner
Wash up after lunch

Dinner & basic clear away
DS bath & bed
Clear floor of debris
Clean highchair & mat
Empty rubbish shopping from pushchair
Load dishwasher / wash up
Prepare breakfasts
Put away dry laundry
Chop & freeze herbs in fridge

Finish writing NCT article
Clear out nappy bag

(Hoover kitchen - if time)

PlumBumMum · 26/04/2011 20:34

Right I got a huge pile of ironing done, but I just can't presuade myself to put it away,

JKS congratulations again, I really had a feeling you would have a girl, how are you coping with pink after all the blue Grin, hows the ds's? Can't wait for pics

Ali OMG 4 weeks already, time really does fly! How is your ds coping with the new addition? Good luck for tomorrow isn't ds1 starting pre-school?

MIL & FIL are taking dcs out for day tomorrow, so if weather is good I might paint my fence,

And I know I said it before but I really need to lose weight I have had a couple of invitations out and nothing to wear, I'm supposed to be going out with friends on Thursday night, and then my friends babies christening next week, and not much nice clothes that fitSad

Right going to round up dcs and get them off to bed and read another bit of my book, its vvv good

welcome Angeldog dive on in

PlumBumMum · 26/04/2011 20:34

[csmile] just seen these I hardly ever scroll down far enough

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 26/04/2011 20:53

Hello everyone :)

Welcome AngelDog - yes just jump in :)

JKS - it is manic tbh! DS2 is a velcro child and Has. To. Be. Bloody. Carried. All. The. Fecking. Time. I am like this Confused How on earth are you coping with 3!!???! Grin
How are the stitches?

Plum - yes he does start preschool tomorrow, well remembered! He has coped really well with DS2, until the last couple of days when I think the novelty has worn off and that he would like me back to himself. He pulled DS2 off the bed when we were at my parents over the weekend, and has tried to grab him off me while we've been BFing a couple of times. It won't last I'm sure, but a bit stressful while it does!

Mini - enjoy grannying :) Mum has loved these last few weeks of being very involved.

Wasting - pleased DH is making good progress Grin

We've had a nice day today, friend and her DDs came over for lunch and playtime which was manic, but fun.

TO DO
Unload dishwasher
Clear up
Recycling out
Tidy downstairs
Label DS1's shoes and bag and jumper for tomorrow
15 mins pamper before bed
Sleep

AngelDog · 26/04/2011 23:11

Good luck Ali, I wish I could offer words of wisdom but since dd1 has just threw the most almighty tantrum, and I could cry as she has been swinging from one end of the spectrum to the other this last few weeks, I have nothing to say except I just let dh deal with it,
She has had me in tears this week so I'm letting dh deal with it today as he thought she had grown out of her tantrums.
MIL has taken dcs out for day and I'm going to paint fence, dd1 decided she didn't want to go, and dh has made her go, I hope she dosen't spoil their day but I think she was throwing the tantrum because she wanted to paint the fence[cconfused]

So need to
paint fence

I can cope with that swap plum Grin I had a happy 10 minutes tidying my knicker drawer earlier Blush

Ali you are very neighbourly and sociable, I'm always scared to call on new neighbours in case they slam the door in my face or something! Glad ds went in ok, apparently mine was v quiet this morning and says he doesn't want to go tomorrow...

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 27/04/2011 13:45

Freak I'm not at all. It takes huge effort and I am secretly relieved that she is busy because it lets me off the hook, and therefore I can sit here curled up in peace and quiet on my own Grin
