Agree with views from Alston (Cumbria) or from the top of the high road into Applecross (w. Scot). The bleaker the better for me. What a lovely thread for a sunny day - might even go for a walk Smile

Ooh, two more north of the borders favourites...the Italian POW chapel on Orkney and the view down the drive to Traquair House near Peebles in the borders

London - on a lovely summer day and at christmas
Bath
Durdle Door
Tintagel - went there on a misty day and it really added to the atmosphere
Scotland - Too many to list but a fav is the ruined castle on the banks of Loch Ness.

Mull and Iona, Western Scotland \link{http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/areamull/index.html\here} win my top award - especially Calgary beach.
Also, Durham city, especially the view up to the Cathedral from the riverbank
Agree with London from Waterloo bridge.
Agree with most of Gower.
Fountains Abbey in north yorks i find pretty and magical.
