Drama school auditions 2026 entry- acting/mt- continued

As the original thread is reaching its limits I’ve started a new one for those still wanting advice/support on this crazy journey.

It looks like they only give 3 or 4 days notice so you could hear start of this week still!

Is there a date by which colleges have to have posted a result on UCAS conservatoires (if application was pre 14th Jan)? Guidance I’ve found on line seems unclear - like it’s a recommendation rather than requirement

No, sorry. We are still waiting to hear from 2nd round for acting so hoping it's not over yet. We've heard there is another final MT today but know there are quite a few others waiting on acting courses both 2nd round and finals.

Hi there- no not had any progress other than signed up for a couple of estate agent mailing lists! I’ve seen they’ve made a couple of posts asking for accommodation. Hopefully they will set up the group soon to start things moving. It is a lot more stressful than schools with halls!

Anyone still to do arts ed musical theatre audition? My daughters is next week and feels so late when everyone's now deciding, will there even be any places left at this point

Yes next week too and we've been thinking the same thing, but then other schools seem to all offer late too so you'd like to hope, but I would imagine it will be tight.

Anyone still waiting on recall dates for the lamda Cert He? Emailed a few weeks ago and they said dates coming soon but still nothing, seems to be late

My son was meant to be there on 30 April but withdrew - not sure about other dates

Just heard my dd is on the reserve list for Central's BA Acting Classical and Contemporary. Does anyone know what the odds are of her gaining a place. The agony continues!!!!!

No advice on the movement on Central waiting list but wow what a huge achievement, well done to your DD! I really hope a place comes to fruition for her 🙏

Congratulations to her! Apparently people can get offered more than one course at Central so every chance that a place may become available. Fingers crossed

Adding to the central intel - my sons friend has been put on the waitlist for 2/3 courses (not the MT but the other 2)

Thats interesting. Does anyone know of any DC being offered a place? I haven’t heard of anyone yet. I wonder how long those offered a place have got before they have to accept?

A bit of hearsay but I heard about someone who impressed the panel so much back in Feb/March that they said they could pick whichever course they wanted…. The YP is very talented so it might just be true!
