For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Pink you are a loon, aren;t you?

Are you taking DS with you on the walk?

Will you be able to spend all day tomorrow in bed?

OsmosisBanana · 11/07/2009 19:43

naughtiness

OsmosisBanana · 11/07/2009 19:48

The tiles are good Guad, they look a little like the ones I have me eye on... Good taste there.

Guadalupe · 11/07/2009 20:39

The online colours are not at all like the actual tile. The yellow for eg is barely yellow as I look at it in front of me wheras that one on screen is quite strong. I like the green and blue and the turqoise but I am veering towards the white, especially as it's the only one that is 50% off whereas the others are 25%. This adds up to quite a lot over however many we need.

I don't usually like Karen Millen that much but the odd thing is nice. That dress is lovely. I bought a thick winter green one a few years ago and it has seen me through three weddings, a christening and a book launch at The Ivy. That sounds like a film, and I sound like a ponce but who cares. I am drunk.

Prawn, pea and mint rissotto for dinner, with choc and blueberry brownies, plenty of wine and when I watch a video shortly I am going to eat a curly whirly. It's Saturday.

pointydog · 11/07/2009 20:41

oh, good title.

I iz back.

Same old same old.

Guadalupe · 11/07/2009 20:41

I love the sleeves on that dress and I don't usually go for sleeves. Look at the hilarious tights on the right though. She looks like a pink frog.

pointydog · 11/07/2009 20:41

I think you'll find it is a curly wurly, guada

pointydog · 11/07/2009 20:43

I like that black and pink dress alot. But is that model completely twisted at the waist?

Guadalupe · 11/07/2009 20:43

Is it? I have never realy looked at the wrapper!

I was told they are very low in points at WW but I don't suppose it counst after a brownie.

pointydog · 11/07/2009 20:50

curly whirly sounds very adult, doesn't it

Guadalupe · 11/07/2009 20:54

Does it? I am not feeling very adult today. I have been a driving wimp and that always makes me feel like a teenager.

This is my green dress here. It has a little emerald cardiagn too but I don't usually wear that. Ahhhh, it makes me feel fond it it looking at the screen.

pointydog · 11/07/2009 21:02

That is a nice dress.

I couldn't wear it. Arms and back like a sideboard

TooTicky · 11/07/2009 21:20

I don't own a single dress. I am utterly inelegant.

Nice veneer Pointy.

FrayedKnot · 11/07/2009 21:45

'Ello Pointy, welcome back.

I like the dresses....

I'll see your curly wurly Guad a raise you a packet of revels.

It is Saturday, after all

FrayedKnot · 11/07/2009 21:46

and raise you

FrayedKnot · 11/07/2009 21:49

TooT you would suit a dress imo.

OsmosisBanana · 11/07/2009 22:28

I have just watched Mock the Week upstairs on iplayer. I think I may need to change the bed sheets.

I think Karen Millen do dresses v well. Not sure I would buy much else there (regardless of prohibitive pricing strategy). I have one pair of v good work trousers from there however they have gone all weird and stickyish. I am told this is because I disregard 'dry clean only' instructions but I am convinced it is from 3 years spent sitting on grubby NHS office chairs.

Everyone needs a dress, even if they don't wear it. I have many that just get a little stroke and a sigh from time to time. Not even nice ones, just small of waist and arse.

I want another G&T but DH is snoring and it would be somewhat pintless.

TooTicky · 11/07/2009 22:34

I could only ever wear a dress if it came right down to my ankles but I would still feel v self-conscious and worry about climbing stiles. And trees. Just in case, y'know.

OB are you not on FB any more?

FrayedKnot · 11/07/2009 22:50

I have a beautiful dark red dress from this company (got it on e-bay for £40) - the exact style is not on here but very similar to several of these

It is totally vampish

I have yet to wear it (chickened out last year)

FrayedKnot · 11/07/2009 22:51

or if I could be bothered to do the link

FrayedKnot · 11/07/2009 22:52

NB must point out it is an evening dress and not one of the bunny girl outfit type things

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 12/07/2009 08:08

Welcome back Pointy, how was Northumberland? I have always wanted to go there, it looks stunning.

How did the walk go Pink?

Here's yesterdays list, it is shocking

beans
banana
nakd bar
oj

pointydog · 12/07/2009 09:49

hello k-nots and moveit.

Northumberland was good, thank you. Mixed weather but fairly good on the whole.

We went to Embleton beach for the first time which is one of the most beautiful beaches. Gorgeous fine sand, quite dramatic waves but still easy to paddle, views round to Dunstanburgh Castle. It was perfect.

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2009 10:03

yep, still on FB TooT.

mollyroger · 12/07/2009 11:00

oh pointy, I love northumberland! My sis lives there but sadly staying there means having to interact with nobbo brother-in-law

Listen up veggers, NONE of you are allowed to come up north without letting me know so I can hi-jack you en route for a cuppa and cake, ok? I live 3 miles off the A1 in a nice touristy town so there is NO excuse.
And there will be cake.

hhho-kay; boys slept in til 10am so we did too. So now I have approx 2 hours to get everything done before picnic in the park with gang of people. Also need to provide something more exotic to bring than cheese and onion crisps and pepperonis . Best get to it.
so go, eat veg, be healthy, get drunk on sunshine and see y'all later x
