For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Oh, and dd1 has a real fear of dogs, this has made it worse.

Dd2 is now terrified of dogs, though bless her, a lady had 2 puppies and they were so cute and she was brave and stroked them

FairLadyRantALot · 22/02/2009 19:40

Thanks Fran and Fair.

I am planning ot log it with police.
Even though it didn't properly bite her.

My thinking is that if other people have the same expereinec, then action is more likely to be taken if there are complaints.

And he is a v disticntive bloke, I'm sure he's well known/recognised.

FrannyandZooey · 22/02/2009 19:46

Oh Littlerach for you too...

So, no-one had a particularly restless or uncomfortable night, followed by, ooh, say, rhythmic cramping?

littlerach · 22/02/2009 20:15

Actually, i had a restless and uncomfortable night but this wa due to dh and his snoring

And thanks ofr not saying I was being neurotic, precious etc

OsmosisBanana · 22/02/2009 20:20

Please 'carrot in my kitchen'. As I have actually got nothing in my kitchen. Not even a kitchen in my kitchen.

I am tired and hallucinating and am going to bed.

LR - crap dog owners are the worst, it's so embarrassing for the rest of us who know how to control our dogs. Crap dog=crap owner but mostly the dogs get the blame. I am not a dog lover btw, just happen to have to share my house with 3 bigguns.

Fran, really pleased for you that excema is getting better, it goes in weird patches of good n bad doesn't it? DD's is horrific atm, bleeding n allsorts. I have thrown caution to the wind and am using DH's grownup creams which is v naughty but she is totally out of her stuff and I can't bear to leave it untended. It is v v v bad. And under her eyes. Argh. Don't want to think about how all of the house works / DIY / dust / slackness has probably caused it.

G night all. Hope good week follows for all... I am nervous about lack of uni stuff done.....

SuperBunny · 22/02/2009 20:33

Sorry for Morrissey slur

I love flatpacks. There is nothing more satisfying than erecting an Ikea bookcase.

Sorry for neighbor situations, Atilla. Why is H so jealous?

Poor DD, LR. I hate when dogs do that. Owners should be much more responsible. I'd be inclined to report them but if you don't know name or anything I suppose that would be hard.

Where's pink?

SuperBunny · 22/02/2009 20:34

That Toby Tiger site is fab. I wish my sister'd have a baby.

FrayedKnot · 22/02/2009 20:47

Oh dear LR on the basis of two different incidents I would definitely report it.

Franny, our nearest poncey seaside is Whitstable. One of my fave shops there

this one

I think we should have Lemur's title because TooT promised, and then choose from the others for next time.

Embarassingly though I can;t remember which one it was sorry Lemur

FrayedKnot · 22/02/2009 20:49

I just read back over thread and am most intrigued by stuffit's "private sultanas"
