For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I have not created my kitchen. Just an update. I have done other useful stuff. Not that I'm avoiding the big pile of un-named boxes with no instructions, of course not, that would be too easy.

DH and I have decided we are going to glare the kitchen into existence.

Guad, here's a gin. It has nice tonic in it. And there are mojito ingredients too if that isn't enough. Now calm down.

Pinkerton....... Nice jeans

TooTicky · 21/02/2009 13:32

Ooh yes Pink, glorious bump.

Is it still there?

TooTicky · 21/02/2009 13:33

Hello OB , happy glaring

Tatties · 21/02/2009 13:34

Thank you TooT

AtillaTheHoney · 21/02/2009 13:43

I am happy and positive but so tired and in so much discomfort....

Can I have a hug?

AtillaTheHoney · 21/02/2009 13:45

Roffling at Guad...I think you are lovely...would you like me to plant a flower in my fairy garden on FB in your honour?...it could be a love flower if you liked....

TooTicky · 21/02/2009 13:53

Lots of high potency hugs coming your way Atilla........

Guadalupe · 21/02/2009 13:59

I do not have ishoos, Toot, just irritations.

Why thank you, OB, I haven't had a gin for a while. Can I have ice and lime and a dash of fevertree? I am going to look at more kitchens in a minute.

TigerFeet · 21/02/2009 15:06

Pink, you look amazing! Your bump is glorious.

{{{{Guad}}}} I don't bother with fluffy bits of FB. I just use it to vent my spleen and chat to people. I can't be arsed with the rest of it tbh. It's been great though, I've had some lovely chats with old friends I haven't seen in years.

Nice kitchen OsBa! DIY is mainly done via swearing and glaring in this house too. You been watching any crikkit between screwdriver attacks? is all I can say really

Have a non spiky hugs Atilla. Would you like some gin too?

BBBee · 21/02/2009 15:35

i'm afraid i'm with guad on the hugs - it makes me wince slightly every time.

phonecall sounds good franny.

BBBee · 21/02/2009 15:36

TooTicky · 21/02/2009 15:43

Glad to hear it Frank

I went 4 days over with dd and it was hell on a stick - can't imagine a fortnight and hope I never have to. Doesn't stop us indulging in a bit of light vegger teasing though does it?

TooTicky · 21/02/2009 16:11

Don't know about mess TF, haven't looked yet....

Hello superwoman

TooTicky · 21/02/2009 16:33

Mess...well, no, not really. Unless you count the fact that he hasn't washed up, but I thin k it is so good that he is cooking independently that I don't mind atm.
Would rather he enjoyed it for now.

TigerFeet · 21/02/2009 16:34

Ah yes, an approach that my mother seems to have taken

Now, I must go and make a mess cook food for the masses

SuperBunny · 21/02/2009 16:50

Hello

Banana

Have read thread but forgotten everything.

Nice pics, Pink.

SuperBunny · 21/02/2009 16:54

I would like to say that I am in awe of anyone who makes it to their due date and beyond. DS was born at 37 weeks and I cannot imagine being pg any longer. I was huge, it was 30+ degrees C every day, 80% humidity and I was grumpy an uncomfortable.

Even 4 weeks before that, the water taxi people let me ride for half price since I was 'obviously disabled'

littlerach · 21/02/2009 17:11

Wow, cooking is good toot.

Salad
tomaotes
lemon cheesecake
raisins

hav ehad a brill day woth friends, and it is warm.
And dds actualyl behaved

Pink, you look amazing
Dd1 was 5 and a bit weeks early, dd2 was 9 dya slate, bit it felt like 2 months late!!

FairLadyRantALot · 21/02/2009 18:22

Pnk...your bump is fabulous....so...you going towards labour?

SB, have you had the arthritis diagnosed? Is it Reumatoid Arthritis or Osteo Arthhritis?
If Reumatoid, will you be seeing a Reumatologist? And get assessed and adviced by a OT-Handtherapist...for joint protection and tings you can do to keep things at bay and stuff...

Hm...well..I have not have a good day....it's Holidays and es had asked and told me, that on Friday he will be sleeping over at a friends house...he obviously was alone at home 9both dh and me working , little ones at childminder) and he wasn't home when we got home, and I of courtse rightly assumed that he was already at that friend...but I still worried because he didn't call or anything, and than he didn't came home until late afternoon (about 1 hour ago)...and I didn't have a contact number, so, by that time I went out of my mind...in the end I had to go next door, to ask for their daughters telephonenumner, to call her and ask her to either give me the other mums (es friends mum) number or call her and ask her to call me...
and indeed all was well....but , my god...thoughts of the worst kind crossed my mind, as you can imagine.
I had asked ds several times to make sure I had the firends number and stuff...but of course he forgot about that...children...sigh!

Anyway, not sure the above even makes sense...
anyway, as for f&v...complete rubbish...

Franny, lol at you calling people bastards...but sorry things are difficult for you...

OH, dh and I watched a funny movie yesterday...called GhostTown...absolutely fabulous, wiht some sad moments, but mostly funny!
