For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Dress was from Jigsaw. And is a jumper dress. I know, shock horror, but actually it worked because it sort of skims all the worst lumps and bumps, and has darts under norks - and I have ample norks - and so looks like I have a waist. And sits just at knee level, and looked good with boots. Then french lady brought me a v. tight belt to try with a different dress - v. nice french lady, I make lots of friends when I shop, I think it should be a group effort - and so I bought the corset belt and erm, the other dress too. I don't shop for clothes much, but I like it when I do.

I don't know if there will be any Toot!

ahundredtimes · 07/02/2009 14:24

Other dress also nice, but different. Girls said 'it's very boho, it suits you' and I was pleased they thought I was boho.

Really, it's been a dizzying morning. Then we went to Pizza Express. And thing is evening is at someones house who lives down a mad, uneven lane and we will have to park and walk down their lane with a torch. Also v. exciting I think.

Me, me, me, me. Let's all talk about me.

Of course there will be 100x. Independent shops especially love signings and local authors.

Oh Avi I am sorry, that sounds grim.

100x, I like it that you were pleased to be boho. I typed Boco then by mistake.

ahundredtimes · 07/02/2009 14:31

Not until March Avi. I got a box of them though. They made more than one

ahundredtimes · 07/02/2009 14:32

Yes, I like to be thought of as boho, so long as it is boho chic not boho grubby. I am trusting they meant the former not the latter.

TooTicky · 07/02/2009 14:33

When in March?

littlerach · 07/02/2009 14:35

at dress
at party tonight

I bought myself a camera today. Thsi is unusual fir me. And I htink I know how ot work it

Muesli
leek
banana

Sunny but still v snowy.

Where is SB?

ahundredtimes · 07/02/2009 14:38

5th, I think.

Oooh we're all buying things. A camera is a good purchase LR. Much better than corset belts. (Mind you corset belt only came into being because french lady unhappy about the boho look and clearly wanted to nip my waist and straighten the edges and do french things with my look).

Right have to go and wrap presents - dd has a party in a minute too. Then I'm going to buy my FOCUS list, and make muesli.

Anyway must get on.

TooTicky · 07/02/2009 14:41

LR, did you have the leek chopped into your muesli? [curious]

littlerach · 07/02/2009 14:46

Um, no, though that may gain me extra points!

Muesli

Leek and potato soup

Banana.

Leek looks more hardcore as a stand alone veg, rather than with potato in soup

TooTicky · 07/02/2009 14:59

Even more hardcore on muesli...

Guadalupe · 07/02/2009 15:32

Moltex always leaked for me. Usually badly in the middle of the night requiring an outfit change so I got pretty fed up of them.

Avi - have you been ill?

I have walked very fast for an hour and walked quite slowly for an hour. Now I am tired and having a late lunch of mackerel and lettuce with a whole avocado with chai and dates after. It is very nice. It is also bloody freezing. I might light a fire.

I got dcs Zara jumpers in town as they have nice ones and also bought several copies of the pop up Bear Hunt as it's so lovely and only 4.99 instead of 14.99 so will make good presents. The family wiggling back and forth over the marsh is brilliant. I can't believe it can be done with paper.

Dh and ds1 are wearing smart clothes in the corporate box at the football. Soomeone gave dh tickets at work. I'm glad I didn't have to go. I would like a pie though.

TooTicky · 07/02/2009 15:34

Goodness Guad, I thought it was your family wiggling across the marsh!

Guadalupe · 07/02/2009 15:39

Well, we do do that, but in the summer generally!

TooTicky · 07/02/2009 15:45

It was the use of paper to achieve it that impressed me.

AtillaTheHoney · 07/02/2009 15:46

Sorry about migraine Avi....they are the pits,

I am doing walking, which is nice anyway, thanks 100... Just have to be a good girl Rofl...

Dress sounds lush...but now I have shopping ...one month and 7 days and still no new clothes....sigh. Can I have a sticker, even a manky 2nd hand one?

Heyyyy,...Toot..

TooTicky · 07/02/2009 15:50

Hey Atilla

AtillaTheHoney · 07/02/2009 15:56
