For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Thank you everyone for compliments on photos tatties, I think he was kissing him - he is touchingly in love with him, always comes and kisses him and puts his arms around him and says 'I love you, I'm looking after you'

We had a very nice day at dh's aunt and uncle's with PIL, who are staying there currently. They live on what used to be a farm and have a big yard, lawn, kitchen garden and a paddock next door with mares and foals. ds1 had a lovely time. dh, PIL, aunt and uncle monopolised the dses while I lay in the sun. We ate cake.

right back here on the good girls thread I know everyone will be pleased to hear about my big salad
lettuce, spinach, cucumber, tomato, avocado, chickpeas

and my trip to the gym: 10 mins on arm pedalling machine (nearest thing I can get to a cardio workout these days ) and 40 mins footling around with weights and a gym ball
