For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

berolina · 12/05/2008 21:39

sorry about ill/hurt dc, Bee and TooT.

berolina · 12/05/2008 21:41

I neeeeed to go and have a shower and was just off, but ds2 started screaming for me and is now feeding again. Cluster feeding at nearly 8mo

pinkspottywellies · 12/05/2008 21:45

I think dd is finished with breastfeeding and I feel a bit I didn't think I would! The last two nights she's wanted a cup of milk to go to bed instead of me. It's happening more often. Ah well. Never thought I'd go past 6 months to begin with!

UnderRated · 12/05/2008 21:53

Oh, finishing breastfeeding can be very bittersweet, I think. I really empathise.

TooTicky · 12/05/2008 22:26

Ds2 now much cooler and fell asleep at 8.20 This is very unusual. Dd2, however, has only just gone off...

Beeee, I hope ds sleeps well and comfortably and that he is pleased with his cast tomorrow.

Pink, could it just be a phase? My dcs have all had more and less milk-dependent phases.

ahundredtimes · 12/05/2008 22:51

Oh no BBee. I hope he is okay. Did they say how long he'd have to be in plaster for? You did well in getting him to hospital. I think my instincts are a bit suspect.

Hope ds2 also okay TooT. Is his eye infected do you think?

TooTicky · 12/05/2008 22:56

I think he's okay. Well, I hope so. Will inspect tomorrow.

How are you 100x?

ahundredtimes · 12/05/2008 22:57

Fine.

Tired actually, and a bit grumpy.

TooTicky · 12/05/2008 22:58

There there

ahundredtimes · 12/05/2008 23:00

Oh no let's not just now. Am too grumpy.

Have had a very annoying day really. I must go to bed. Let's talk about it another time when I'm not frowning. Is that OK?

TooTicky · 12/05/2008 23:01

Sleep well

FrannyandZooey · 12/05/2008 23:23

oh god is this the poo thread - i cannot be on the poo thread even if i don't read it - I think boco said it was. I think I should go.

UnderRated · 13/05/2008 05:00

I suspect you were rather disappointed about the pile being ironing

My bottom has been interesting today. I don't usually feel the need to mention it as it tends to behave itself but I have been rather alarmed this evening.

Anyway, am trying to have a good week so went running tonighht. 30 mins. Yay.

Will have a good F&V day tomorrow. Promise.

zippitippitoes · 13/05/2008 07:38

hi good morning i am rather confused by this two thread business

i went for my walk last night and got nearly half way and had a terrible blood sugar plummet so was rather worried about making a show and fainting in the street..so managed to get to a pub and order a j2o which i hoped was a sugary drink rather than an alcopop as i have never had one i wasnt sure if it had vodka in and as i was already embarrassed at the fact i could hardly see i wasnt go to ask and a bag of salt and vinegar crisps

i had insomnia last night and some weird dreams i havent had bad sleeping for ages

and i have been very good over alcohol and caffeine since i said i was having a rest from it

maybe this is why

i am gardening this am will have to take suncream is there such a thing as a sunhat which wont look ridiculous especially on m as i am definitely not a hat person

stuffitllama · 13/05/2008 08:10

don't know which one I'm on now

had a beautiful juicy william pear .. you know the jazz guy on the Fast Show saying "Niiice" well i wanted to say to you all "Juuiiccy" just like him

morning zippi, who will see you, get the hat on. Are you eating properly, why teh blood sugar?

Ur are you feeling better today

btw I finally read the whole thread title instead of just abbrev version in all your arguments discussions and I would have got it (honest) please let me reclaim some credibility

stuffitllama · 13/05/2008 08:10

Bbee how is the arm? is he more cheerful today?
and Toot how is the temp and the eye

hope your dc's are both very bright this morning

stuffitllama · 13/05/2008 08:11

100 sorry about grumps

TooTicky · 13/05/2008 08:54

UR, tell us about your bottom [sympathetic]

Zippi, please take care of yourself!!!
