Ask Not For Whom The Kale Curls - It Curls For Thee - 10 / 10 thread

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I think we should get points for planting veg cos yesterday I sowed peas, lettuce, spinach and radishes and ate several doughnuts.

FrayedKnot · 11/05/2008 21:24

I ate avocados and mangoes, cunting strawberries, lots of salad, a cantaloupe melon

That was this week not today

Did someone mention mint cornettos?

FrannyandZooey · 11/05/2008 21:29

no cornettoes on this thread

Horrible, disastrous trip to the toilet

I am eating a Crunchie to try and rid myself of the memory.

UnderRated · 11/05/2008 21:32

Sits nicely, nibbles carrot and looks angelic and vegger-ish.

UnderRated · 11/05/2008 21:33

Oh good, back to bottom talk. Are you ok, Cyteen?

FrannyandZooey · 11/05/2008 21:34

cyteen what sort of disastrous
I can ask on this thread whereas the so called bad girls on the other thread are scared of a bit of scat

Ooo, well done zippi. You always sound knowledgeable and doctorate-like.

FrannyandZooey · 11/05/2008 21:35

well done zippi that must have been very satisfying for you
however whenever I feel intimidated by policywonk's intellect and debating skills I remind myself that she did once make playdough with tartare sauce

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 11/05/2008 21:35

lol how much am i paying out in bribes this week

zippitippitoes · 11/05/2008 21:36

well us intellectuals are probably somewhat too esoteric for play dough

FrannyandZooey · 11/05/2008 21:37

no I think my point was that it is easy to mistake one thing for something completely different

berolina · 11/05/2008 21:38

I am just ploughing bit by bit through the chav thread, zippi, and kept nodding in agreement with your posts.

UnderRated · 11/05/2008 21:39

Can you link to chav thread, please? [lazy]

zippitippitoes · 11/05/2008 21:39

i think i was in opinionated mood lol

tho it did seem to be one of those where you dont all seem to be on the same thread

ah a bit like 10/10 then

zippitippitoes · 11/05/2008 21:39

berolina · 11/05/2008 21:39

chav thread

cyteen · 11/05/2008 21:40

Haha, bring on the scat.

Horrible because I have had an itchy bot all day + felt like I needed to have a crap, but didn't bother going as I knew it wouldn't happen; then was seized with undeniable urge whilst DP was at the shop; passed the usual pile of rabbit droppings while feeling like my fanjo was going to turn inside out; experienced sudden terror of entire lower half prolapsing and having to be carried off the throne like a pregnant Elvis; failed to evacuate properly; left toilet feeling frustrated at my body's inability to handle this most basic process, resigned to having piles, plus still itchy. And then discovered that DP hadn't taken his keys when he went to the shop and had been stuck outside banging on the front door for ten minutes, lol.

FrannyandZooey · 11/05/2008 21:41

my god
I think that may have been TMI even for me
you should probably get a badge for that, cyteen

It's all or nothing when it comes to discussing poo.

zippitippitoes · 11/05/2008 21:42

zippi decides the other thread..any other thread..wpould be preferable

zippitippitoes · 11/05/2008 21:43

oh good news tho i have realised that my too big board shorts things will be perfect for climbing

FrannyandZooey · 11/05/2008 21:45

I feel I must take some responsibility for egging her on
I have learnt a little lesson today

cyteen · 11/05/2008 21:45

Everyone tells me dignity goes out the window during childbirth, so I thought I might as well throw it away now
