Nope- tomorow maybe or weds but until nail fever wont let me go (it's annoying as it spikes every few hours then I am fine so no worse but not better enough).

Yep smee have books ,iPad and dh and dsis been in. Mainly been watching Olympics - weightlifting (yes dsis and I are not too old to do snatch jokes), diving and now gymnastics

Gigs, glad the scans are looking better. Sorry they wont let you home though. What a pain!

Gracie, I'd decline the creche too. Could you do a swap for the kitchen. I should think that would be almost a child-free zone. But if not then put your name down for next year.

Glad rads are over for Oneineight and Ned. It's such a relief knowing you haven't got to do that daily journey and sit around waiting every day.

When they took my picc out today it left a big hole , no blood , just big hole !

Just been searching in vain for 'lost trunks' clip too. . Though thought it was TD's trunks - I know I'm old enuf to be his gran, but ..... (I like his hair style and his chirpy little face, even when he missed out on medal). so what was the name of US lost trunks mannie? that will help search, no doubt. I am exhausted and sort of queasy, need to go to bed after The archers, so this will keep me going till then.

Don't worry -normal orange service will be resumed post Olympics (laetissima topsy is a massive fan of fake tan so has soft spot for Tom jones, David Dickinson etc- she also tried to claim dale winton but I think kurri got there first).

Sadly, i do need to get to bed. I feel rubbish at mo. Big trip out for me tomorrow - dh and I going to seaside for TWO WHOLE NIGHTS WITH NO OFFSPRING ( and - whisper, it feels tactless on here, in present company - I have hair cut appt in am - and need ot pack etc before that), and have loads to do to organise all those boysmen for the time we are away. Of course, in reality, all i'll do is chuck them some cash to buy groceries, remind them of 'ground rules' which they will ignore, and then i'll disappear off. AND I'm going to a town with shops so can buy anything I forget to take, no. Luckily it will rain while we are away so DH will not fret about 'lost time' when he could be doing diy on outside of house. Fencing and beach volleyball while we are away!! (dh hates watching sport, but he did used to fence so might be persuaded to watch that for a bit)

Oh no, I was watching the diving too and missed the shorts escapade. That's what I get for mumsnetting at the same time.

Picc replacement for me was a completely new one as old one was a bit infected . Are you getting your picc replaced gigs? I'm not totally convinced this one is going to last to the end of my chemo as I think it may be a bit longer than when it was put in. Perhaps I need to forego any cleaning until the picc comes out.

Yep as think issue is with line ..I will try and look when finished admiring gymnasts watching gymnastics.

Oh and baskets enjoy your trip ( at your description of leaving your man cubs ). Hair is not frivolous -what you doing to it? Am finding I don't mind hair loss that much .

I just wish the Onc had told me I was in remission before I had the first chemo , my hair started going patchy so I shaved it
