Hello ladies, - just taking the plastic wrapper off a brand new thread Smile

OP posts:
OneInEight · 28/02/2012 06:57

This message had better post today!!!!! Lost two yesterday. Goodluck Topsy and Gig for your appointments today. Jane, I hope you managed to get rid of the toad before bedtime - my cats use to love bringing in worms - i used to hate rainy nights when there would be several waiting on the floor in the morning. Amber - hooray for clear smear. Ned, hope your feeling OK today and enjoy your coffee with friend - the dc will bring germs home anyway so I reckon it is OK to go out. I have been doing anyway.

topsyturner · 28/02/2012 07:01

Morning all , and thanks for all the good luck wishes .
Same goes for you gig , hope all goes well today .

Also have to take ds for his bcg later , and have dd off not feeling well .

Gigondas · 28/02/2012 07:16

Dd1 up now and going on about surfing - Barbie a mermaids tale has a lot to answer for Hmm

holstenlips · 28/02/2012 07:29

Good luck Gig and Topsy today, really positive vibes to you.
I have tea and toast here if anyone would like. I'm preparing myself for a big long walk. I am doing my 2nd moonwalk (26 miles eek) in about 11 weeks and so far have been unable to train! So I woke up this morning and thought today is the day i have to start. Will follow a bus route in case I cant make it!
As I said, good luck for those with appts today and hope everyone else has a good day too x

NedSchneebly · 28/02/2012 07:32

Big positive vibes winging their way to topsytown and gigtown for appointments today. Thinking of you both lots x x x

I was a year slightly overdue for my smear too, topsy. Am definitely with you on voluntarily submitting to another medical procedure!

Good sleeping littlegig

MaryAnnSingleton · 28/02/2012 07:34

vibes being sent out - and waving to oneineight.
Good luck holsten with moonwalk training - toasted teacake when you get back ?
Am making my newest mini zine today and starting a picture and trying to resist buying some new trousers from White stuff as there's a £15 off offer on...

NedSchneebly · 28/02/2012 07:35

Take it easy, right? No strenuous training for you, missus x x x

eight thought I would get out while I feel OK. Mum coming again today, so thought a little walk in town gardens in order.

Juice and bagels here, anyone?

NedSchneebly · 28/02/2012 07:36

Why resist MAS ?! Sounds like a very good investment opportunity to me. . .

Gigondas · 28/02/2012 07:45

I wouldn't resist either Mas - am waiting on A Boden order .

Holsten- wow on moonwalk . I did it twice years ago so know how much it takes to train.

NedSchneebly · 28/02/2012 07:49

I am waiting on a Buff order for groovy and stylish headwear, in view of impending Kojak status. . . Followed your advice, jchocchip - I think twas you that suggested Buff to me?

Gigondas · 28/02/2012 07:51

Ooh - will have to share tips ned as will know later if am in same position .

topsyturner · 28/02/2012 08:02

Am at hospital , in waiting room . Please stop talking about food as I am not allowed so much as a cup of coffee till after scan Grin

Good for you Holsten on the moonwalk , but take it easy !

Uuurgh , this place is sooooo boring ! Am even here before the staff today Smile

topsyturner · 28/02/2012 08:03

Buffs are great , they are what I used the most .

Gigondas · 28/02/2012 08:04

Aren't there some three year old copies of take a break to distract you topsy?

Gigondas · 28/02/2012 08:06

Or head over to Aibu. I know that I can worry about kid safety but I won't put cling film round a cot...

NedSchneebly · 28/02/2012 08:19

Arf Grin at AIBU and cling film gig !!!!!!!!

Gigondas · 28/02/2012 08:20

Words fail me on that one but Aibu does that quite often to me Wink

topsyturner · 28/02/2012 08:51

Just read the cling film post Shock
Whatever next ?

topsyturner · 28/02/2012 08:53

Have kindle with me , so can give the old as the dead sea scrolls take a break mags a miss Grin

Gigondas · 28/02/2012 08:59

That's lucky (wonders what did before iPhone and then remembers her sack like handbag). I am glad that still put mags and newspapers in some waiting rooms -it's surely the only time anyone buys the daily express

NedSchneebly · 28/02/2012 09:08

Still waiting topsy? Thinking of you. Definitely deserve a good brekkie after youre done x

NedSchneebly · 28/02/2012 09:09
Gigondas · 28/02/2012 09:13

Grin at Ned.
I really should get up now shouldn't I?

MaryAnnSingleton · 28/02/2012 09:44

I was horrified when they put bubble wrap on ds in the SCBU when he was born (he was badly jaundiced and went under the sun lamp)

smee · 28/02/2012 09:55

Ah but MAS, did you pop it?? Grin

Shock at cling film post. Blimey people are odd.

Topsy, hope they don't make you do contortions. Is there an app for that?! Grin

And Gig am thinking of you too. Must feel like the longest day as you've already been up for hours.

Ned, how's the sickness now?? Is decreasing the dose working okay?

Holstein definitely don't overdo the walking or we'll send Amber round with the duct tape. Toasted teacake sounds essential part of training. Wink

Waving to OneinEight and all others. Bit grey here, but had better do some work. Have a pot of coffee on the go for those who want some. Smile
