blimey- we're almost up to our limit...so brand new shiny,sparkling thread.

I had a bit of a walk too today- nowhere bracing, just into town to mooch about- was just nice to walk.
I absolutely love Dorset- we used to spend lots of holidays in a house right by the sea at Ringstead Bay (bewtween Lulworth and Osmington) We were going to move to Dorchester at one point but it all fell through

Tomorrow is my minor op- am feeling a bit querulous - it's first thing in tyhe morning,which I suppose is good.

Oh good luck MAS - is it your head thing? - hope it all goes well, yes first thing is good - get it out of the way, and stock up with treats

MAS, I had a cut on my finger which bled lots, I felt feint, so cue lots of DH fussing and hurling my head between my knees. Amidst it all DS sat next to me and said: ' Stop seeing it as red mum, see it as yellow.' Bonkers, but it worked. Worth a try maybe..

To all those who have just watched Endeavour .
In the scene where young Morse was talking to the lady in the newspaper office about the crosswords , as he was leaving she said to him "Do I know you ?" . And he said he didn't think so , to which she replied "In another life perhaps" .
Well the actress who played her is John Thaws real life daughter .

That is very sweet topsy - I knew his DD was in it, but wasn't sure which character she was - makes sense now. I thought it was very well done, the actor they chose made a good young Morse.

I'm having my hair cut tomorrow - it's very thick and unruly at the moment - I was supposed to have it done a month ago, but completely forgot about my appointment because it was when Dad died. I may get myself some funky earrings to go with cropped hair.

Kurri - haircut planned for me today as well. I am planning something radical so it is less of a shock if my hair all falls out becuase of the chemo - may chicken out and have my normal, mid-length, cut instead.

Morning All

Been awake most of the night . It is so wild and windy here , the noise has kept me awake .
Off for rads shortly , not looking forward to getting the bus home .

We need photos of kks and 1in8s haircuts please .
I have about 1/2 an inch of hair now , and I am contemplating a lovely crop style like Emma (Hermione Grainger) Watsons . Unfortunately I don't think the hairdresser is a miracle worker , so won't be able to match the rest of me to Miss Watson ...

MAS hope you are practicing your deep breathing techniques and your mantra shall be "It's yellow , not red" !

Kept awake by wil weather here too. Had couple of power cuts too, with the effect of, when the power is restored, my clock radio flashes like a Belisha beacon right in my face. . . Gggrh!

Missed Endeavour- bugger. Was it a one off? May have to get onto iplayer. Was it on itv?

MAS, hooray for you. I know it's tricky for you getting that sorted. Glad DS's yellow chanting distracted you a teeny bit.

Hair here is short, but tips still curly from the post chemo wave effect. DH says at best it's elfin. Gawd alone knows how he'd describe it most of the time. Kurri and One in Eight I wish you lovely hair. Take a hat though - blowing a gale out there.

Topsy, hope rads is okay today, and Amber thinking of you with the Herceptin. Hope you get to talk to the right people about your skin too.
