I’m convinced that he’s just intending to capture the Conservatives after the election. His whole existence is “my right wing populist schtick is better than the Conservatives” so follow me! And if Labour do as well as predicted (and a lot of those shire Tories lose their seats who hate him), he will be well placed to do it.

He's getting far too much airtime. I was listening to The Rest is Politics when they were talking about Question Time with two MPs, the Bishop of Dover, Nigel Farage and Piers Morgan! WTF? We're having an election in a month's time! Farage isn't an MP. He's absolutely nothing. Why is he on QT at all?

Just looking at his stats - in 2015 he came close in Thanet, losing by about 2,000 votes.

If he does get elected it will lead to the disintegration of the Tories... every cloud, and all that.

I think it's perfectly fine for anyone to have a chance of not being elected. Farage is an old hand and has much experience not being elected, and shouldn't be discouraged.
