New thread for sharing Gousto recipes

I enjoyed the last Gousto thread but it seems to have disappeared so thought I would start a new one.
Anyone had a box this week?
I have had the Goan style basa and spinach curry which was really good. Also had the pork with bubble and squeak mash and the sesame hoisin chicken. All have been lovely so far. Just the Thai red curry to go now which I am looking forward to.

I will still order Gousto meals. £1.99 isn’t a huge extra cost and everything has gone up. We had a Chinese takeaway the other night & it was £50 for the 4 of us. I resent paying this when I can have 4 tasty Gousto meals for 4 people for the same price!

The spicy lamb stew was so tasty. We both really enjoyed it.
What is everyone else having this week?

We've just had the harissa Kiev style chicken, can't remember what it's called.
It was ok, maybe too much mint and coriander

I had my first Gousto box last week and absolutely loved it.

I've been feeling so bogged down with meal planning, it has been liberating to outsource all the thinking and take a break from it!

I ordered the baked butternut squash biryani, cheesy BBQ meat free chicken and chips, 3 cheese veg packed pasta bake and Thai style tofu and butternut squash curry.

I've been vegan for a year and a bit but had a bit of cheese. It's the compromise that works for me to ease my mental load and have food that the kids will at least try.

Got another box coming on Thursday 😊

Tonight we’re having katsu chicken burgers which I am really looking forward to.

We had the Malaysian style chicken curry tonight which was also really tasty. All of our meals this week have been amazing

Peruvian-style Haddock & Sweet Potato Stew here tonight. Straight forward recipe, although I would say it took longer than the 30 mins to cook, but it was delicious and very filling.

The pan fried haddock with roasted vegetables and creamy parsley sauce was bland and the portion sizes were small.

I’ve had that, it was good. I’ve been struggling lately to find receipts I want to order so for the first time I’m going to be pausing a couple of them. I never order the ones with added supplement costs and my son won’t eat most of the vegetarian options (tofu for instance) so I feel a bit limited sometimes despite the amount of recipes on offer.

We had the chicken fajita salad with lime mayo tonight. It was far tastier than I was expecting it to be

Sticky chicken and salt & pepper chips here tonight. Lovely!

Last week I had the cheesy black been chilli - loved that although DH would have preferred some meet in it! Tasty though.

Tortelloni was amazing!
Also had the prawn and pepper black bean stir fry - that was ok.
The harissa butter stuffed chicken was a bit bland.

I'm cooking the Brazilian style sweet potato and black bean stew tonight. I'll be honest, I don't fancy it and don't know what possessed me to choose it 😂

The fish stew with couscous was delicious

My husband and I enjoyed the chipotle chicken enchiladas but my son moaned that they were too spicy

What did you think? I'm sure I liked that one

I didn't mind the stew although I found it a bit bland, and wasn't keen on the salsa. Too much raw onion.

We are having the katsu basa tonight

I got a box this week. Have had an Jose stomach and terrible wind after eating the meals. They never make me feel well unfortunately.
