So.... Is anyone interested in a thread where we all say what we are having for tea / dinner depending on where you live, and I can steal your lovely ideas. Hopefully we could share ideas?
We are having turkey burgers in buns with corn on the cob and salad tonight, homemade pizza tomorrow.

Spaghetti with chilli, garlic, flat leaf parsley and olive oil. An easy favourite as it's just me and DS tonight.

How come everyone's having a roast mid-week? How do you have time?!

We had salad with croutons and duck breast, with hoi sin sauce for dipping. It was delicious.

I think only one person had a roast.

I chucked some chunks of potatoes and veg in the oven. Then melted some cheese on the top at the end. Smile

Well I put slow cooker chilli on this morning and was looking forward to it all day but now I have come in and made pea and ham soup with the stock from the gammon cooked yesterday and it is BLOODY GORGEOUS! So I'll freeze the chilli and just eat bowls and bowls of delicious soup!

I sound ever so organised and domesticated right now and that is very unusual!

When I can be arsed to get off the sofa and go and cook it, I am having Jack Monroe's pasta car-brie-nara, which is fried bacon, melted brie and plain yoghurt for the sauce.

Tweebee we wrap loosely in foil to bake them. Lemon juice and seasoning first. Tonight actually we tried a spice grinder thing from Aldi, ready-mixed in the grinder. It was marked for fish and it was lovely!!

I had roast chicken but that literally involved bunging a chicken in the oven for an hour and boiling some Jersey royals. Minimal effort.

Chicken and tarragon pasta with cream, garlic, spinach and white wine. It was yum! Had 12 people for dinner over the bank holiday weekend and trying to use up all the leftovers!

pleasethankyou I tend to put them in for about 20 minutes. But mostly I eyeball it. They have to go mushy. stewing in themselves. So I put the oven on quite hot.

Tonight's Dinner
Soy Glazed Mushrooms and Plums over white rice and salad.

(big juicy thick slices) Garlic, ginger chilli flakes, butter, Mushrooms. saute. Half Plums and a dribble of soysauce over each one in the oven, roast until they mush. Pour plums, and soy over the mushrooms in the pan and keep spooning the liquid over the mushrooms.
Serve over rice.

Got an exam tomorrow so just picky bits tonight I think, using up whatever's in the fridge. There's two different types of prawns, something lamby, mozzarella sticks, salad, pittas, hummus etc etc. The baby loves dinners like that and so do I Grin

Hecky I love teas like that too!
Hopefully having sausage pasta here. Though sausages were done and tomato sauce nearly ready and have just realised I haven't done any pasta! Gah!

Some lovely ideas here!

I did a roast chicken, shaved some off for ds's stir fry and I had a mini roast with honey and thyme roast carrots, green veg and spicy crushed Royal potatoes. Sounds a bit random but it was lovely!

Lush tea in ours tonight though I say it myself! Teriyaki baked salmon, stir fry veg and noodles (though no noodles for me as I'm cutting down on the carbs).
