So.... Is anyone interested in a thread where we all say what we are having for tea / dinner depending on where you live, and I can steal your lovely ideas. Hopefully we could share ideas?
We are having turkey burgers in buns with corn on the cob and salad tonight, homemade pizza tomorrow.

Fish and chips! Just got back from hols and had a hideous rainy drive back so Dh has gone to the chippy.
Back to healthy food tomorrow...

anyoldname76 · 31/05/2016 17:53

We're having lamb chops, potato wedges and peas

MessyBun247 · 31/05/2016 17:54

Chicken curry pie, chips and peas!

lilydaisyrose · 31/05/2016 17:55

Gosh you all have very fancy meals for midweek! I'm giving the kids pasta pesto and I am having large stuffed mushrooms picked up cheap from Sainsburys.

SillyBub · 31/05/2016 17:56

A rare event of all of us eating together thanks to half term, but that means trying to find something we'll all enjoy, and that is vege for DH. So it's spaghetti with homemade tomato sauce, cannellini beans, parmesan and garlic bread, accompanied by a lovely Chianti.
I've set the dining room table up all posh though to celebrate the exceptionally rare event of a midweek meal at the dining table Blush I could just do with DH getting home, who said at 5:10 that he was coming straight home, a 10 minutes drive away, and predictably is nowhere to be seen Hmm

We're having chicken and pancetta pasta bake with extra peas for the pea loving baby.

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 31/05/2016 18:12

Roasted veg with baked feta and couscous here. It's beautiful and still warm so may era out in the garden. DC turned their noses up at planned dinner so they had freezer roulette: I think it ended up being chilli (our frozen leftovers all look very similar till reheated!)

maitaimojito · 31/05/2016 18:15

Jamie Oliver's skinny carbonara here.

TweeBee · 01/06/2016 17:38

Mm some lovely meals yesterday. Tonight we are having home made pizza in a bizarre shape as rolled out by DD, with mushrooms, ham and chicken on top. Corn on the cob. Salad and potato salad to go with it. It's smelling good. I'm very hungry!

Going to knock up some chicken noodle store fry type thingie in a bit.

Was contemplating a Chinese takeaway, but have got things that need using up in the fridge, so am being boring frugal.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/06/2016 17:44

Went out for a huge lunch (local Gujarati vegetarian place) so dinner will be cheese and crackers, or eggy bread, or toast or something. I have lots of blueberries, so could make blueberry pancakes, but doubt anybody will be hungry enough.

Grumpysfirstwife · 01/06/2016 17:46

insan1tyscartching · 01/06/2016 17:54

Lasagne, salad and garlic bread here tonight.

dreamingofsun · 01/06/2016 18:04

another lasagne and garlic bread, but with chard

Hulababy · 01/06/2016 18:06

Seared tuna, jacket potatoes, and salad tonight.

Not decided on any form of dressing for tune and/or salad as yet - need to look at what I can have on SW I guess.
Dessert will probably be yogurt and fruit, again!

CwtchMeQuick · 01/06/2016 18:11

Made a mushroom risotto, DS decided it looked ucky so he had one grain of rice, some chicken pieces and salad. I ate the risotto and I'm still hungry damn period so I'll have some more salad when the boy is in bed and try to resist finishing the bag of chocolate buttons I opened last night

OhHolyFuck · 01/06/2016 18:16

Had beef stew and celeriac mash, and a huge slice of birthday cake

Heyheyheygoodbye · 01/06/2016 19:01

Tuna steaks with buttered potatoes and peas. Simple but lovely.

Ginmakesitallok · 01/06/2016 19:05

We had bbq. Chicken kebabs, veggie kebabs, sausages, flatbeds and salad.

TweeBee · 01/06/2016 19:06

Ooh heyheyhey and Tulababy I keep meaning to try tuna steaks. Any tips? Got myself liking salmon, this is the next step in increasing my intake of oily fish!

Tuna steaks, salsa verde, with oven roasted red peppers, tomatoes, onions and asparagus followed by homemade very easy lemon ice cream

WatchMeSoar · 01/06/2016 19:12

Roast chicken, roast pork (not bug enough to serve by themselves). Roast pots, sprouts, sweet corn, stuffing and gravy, coc cake or jelly and custard.

Not usual for a Wednesday.

WatchMeSoar · 01/06/2016 19:13

CHOC cake!!!!!!

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 01/06/2016 19:14

We had roasted chunks of potatoes, butternut squash and sweet potatoes topped with cheese with fried eggs and charred veg (a mix of carrot, spring onion, tender stem broccoli and baby sweetcorn).
