So.... Is anyone interested in a thread where we all say what we are having for tea / dinner depending on where you live, and I can steal your lovely ideas. Hopefully we could share ideas?
We are having turkey burgers in buns with corn on the cob and salad tonight, homemade pizza tomorrow.

we are having moroccan lamb tagine with prunes and couscous with flaked almonds tonight.

I am also going to make mini apple tarts for dessert.

FourForYouGlenCoco · 03/07/2016 09:38

BBQ for us today! Not tea per se, more late lunch, but am hoping the leftovers will see us through for a few days. 5 adults and a kid - so obviously am buying enough food to feed an army! No one's going hungry round here.

SecretlycrushingonTomHanks · 03/07/2016 12:15

A nice pizza and some prosecco for DH and I tonight I think, saves me cooking! and letting DD1 choose her own dinner. Will most likely be homemade chicken tikka with rice. DD2 will have pasta of some description.

MelanieCheeks · 03/07/2016 16:42

Cauliflower with blue cheese sauce and walnut breadcrumb topping.

AlwaysWashing · 03/07/2016 18:24

Roasted veg couscous with steak & extra broccoli. Child friendly and quick!

IHaveBrilloHair · 03/07/2016 21:50

Pitas with slow cooked veg (peppers, aubergine, olives and sundried tomatoes), hummous, watercress, deep fried halloumi and sweet chilli relish.

SecretlycrushingonTomHanks · 03/07/2016 21:56

Pittas sound amazing IHaveBrilloHair!

Stir fried tofu, shiitake, mange-tout and bean sprouts here!

SlimCheesy2 · 04/07/2016 11:09

Tonight I am thinking pasta with chicken, spinach and creamy sauce. With salad. Not desperately exciting but we have a huge bag of spinach in the fridge!

MumOnACornishFarm · 04/07/2016 11:16

Something to put some vitamins back into my OH who is limping home from a cider and curry-fueled stag do. (He's going to smell awful, I just know it.) So possibly a simple veggie stir fry, or chachouka, or I really fancy spanakopita with a nice green salad if I can be bothered faffing about with filo.

Palomb · 04/07/2016 17:28

Thai fish cakes and pad Thai

IHaveBrilloHair · 04/07/2016 18:11

Heinz Big soup with white toast triangles, it's been one of those days.
I'd have got a chippy but no actual money in the house and they don't do online ordering.
I have a double decker for afters too.

PixieMiss · 04/07/2016 18:22

Beef and veg stew with yorkshire puddings.

Should have had it yesterday but we had people round all day.

PeachyStone · 04/07/2016 18:25

Roasted chicken breast with roast tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, courgette, peppers and chorizo with some walnuts and feta cheese lobbed on the top once I've played it up.
Washed down with a neat measure of damson gin.

P1nkP0ppy · 04/07/2016 18:26

Chicken and red pepper biryani, poppadoms and raita.

TeaMeBasil · 04/07/2016 18:32

Due to a lack of labelling on leftovers in the freezer......chilli & spaghetti Hmm

It's not that bad a combo either Blush

Allalonenow · 04/07/2016 18:47

Risotto prima vera here, with lemon semifreddo for pudding, all very nice and summery, if only I could say the same for the weather! Wine

MyBreadIsEggy · 04/07/2016 18:53

14mo Dd has had homemade lemon chicken, with rice, broccoli and baby sweet corn.
I'm having a bit of a pregnancy carb craving today....so I'm waiting until she goes to be and having whatever is the most unhealthy sandwich I can come up with, made with big fat slices of tiger bread Blush I'll wallow in disgust at myself tomorrow for being a big fat fatty Blush

bookbook · 04/07/2016 21:22

Roasted cherry tomatoes/peppers/shallots/courgettes/garlic with penne.
