Well, that's two hours of my life I'll never get back- disappointing films you've seen?

Last night I snuggled down in clean PJs with popcorn and wine to watch the much-hyped "Girl on a Train". I noticed it was on Amazon Prime yesterday morning as was looking forward all day to watching it.

Well, what a completely bloody waste of time that was.

It was absolute horse shit and I genuinely went to bed feeling a bit deflated.

What disappointing films have you seen that you wish you hadn't bothered with?

Hancock- I worked out half way through. Awful film!

tissuesosoft · 07/08/2017 11:59

*walked out

ppleasebob · 07/08/2017 11:59

RIPD is a running joke with my husband and I.

Honestly, worst film ever made!

FilledSoda · 07/08/2017 12:00

Striptease with Demi Moore , the only time I've ever left a cinema early

nancy75 · 07/08/2017 12:01

Saw Baby Driver recently at the cinema - pile of shite

ncbacktoblack · 07/08/2017 12:02

Just seen Valerian. Hated it. I actually fell asleep.

LuLuuuuuuu · 07/08/2017 12:02

The Blackwell Incident (or something)

So bloody SLOW

The other was years ago in the cinema .. Being There.

idpreferanegroni · 07/08/2017 12:03

YEs, Girl on a train is complete SHIT isn't it.

Most films I watch in cinema with 6 year old - Emojis!!!!!!!!! I did tell him beforehand that it would be the worst film in the world but this not deter him.

It may be a while before he gets into Bergman............

nancy75 · 07/08/2017 12:03

Also Agee op about Girl on the train, load of crap

MiladyThesaurus · 07/08/2017 12:03

DH and I thought the girl on the train was sure too. It was a pretty basic, straightforward (and not very interesting) story that tried to present itself as clever by employing irritating non-linear storytelling. Also, all the characters were horrible so you couldn't even bring yourself to care.

TheEmojiMovieLooksShite · 07/08/2017 12:03

tissue I'm disappointed you corrected that- I love the idea of you just busting out some star jumps in the cinema Grin

RIPD - what is that?

I quite enjoyed Babydriver.

AlpacaPicnic · 07/08/2017 12:06

Wild Wild West - such a pile of shite that I fell asleep in the cinema, then fell asleep at home when I tried to watch it again.

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 07/08/2017 12:06

The Boat That Rocked, I think that's what it was called anyway. Haven't been to the cinema since!

What Lies Beneath (again, I think that's what it was called) was shit too.

TheEmojiMovieLooksShite · 07/08/2017 12:06

Milady Yep, I completely agree. One of my friends was praising it to me because most of the main characters are women. Errrm, yes, stereotypically beautiful, two dimensional women only interested in sex and babies. Progress Hmm

DrablittleCrab · 07/08/2017 12:07

Ted is the only film dh and I agreed we couldn't be arsed to finish watching.

TreacleFarl · 07/08/2017 12:08

The Lobster. I like films that are a little bit off but this was absolute shite. Complete waste of time. I followed it with The Fundamentals of Caring though so that made up for it a bit.

JetBoyJetGirl · 07/08/2017 12:08

Time Traveller's Wife.

Worst thing is, I also read the book just to see if I'd missed something.

Utter, utter drivel.

Cherylvole · 07/08/2017 12:09

La la land

Sandsnake · 07/08/2017 12:09

Batman v Superman. Appalling.

DrDreReturns · 07/08/2017 12:10

The Human Centipede

abbsisspartacus · 07/08/2017 12:13

Gamer seriously messed up film

Aridane · 07/08/2017 12:13

I liked the Human Centipede. (Have also watched Human Centipede 2 Blush)/

SistersOfPercy · 07/08/2017 12:13

I loved the book of Girl on The Train, never seen the movie. I'll give it a miss then.

'Be Kind Rewind' on a flight to Chicago. Mind numbing. Then again Jack Black annoys the hell out of me.

BikeRunSki · 07/08/2017 12:14

Time Travellers Wife - dissapointing after brilliant book
We Need to Talk About Kevin - too slow, but loved the book
Room - couldn't get into it, but I couldn't get into the book either.
Postcards from the Edge - was about 25 years ago, but I left the cinema.
