Last night I snuggled down in clean PJs with popcorn and wine to watch the much-hyped "Girl on a Train". I noticed it was on Amazon Prime yesterday morning as was looking forward all day to watching it.

Well, what a completely bloody waste of time that was.

It was absolute horse shit and I genuinely went to bed feeling a bit deflated.

What disappointing films have you seen that you wish you hadn't bothered with?

Hancock- I worked out half way through. Awful film!

YEs, Girl on a train is complete SHIT isn't it.

Most films I watch in cinema with 6 year old - Emojis!!!!!!!!! I did tell him beforehand that it would be the worst film in the world but this not deter him.

It may be a while before he gets into Bergman............

DH and I thought the girl on the train was sure too. It was a pretty basic, straightforward (and not very interesting) story that tried to present itself as clever by employing irritating non-linear storytelling. Also, all the characters were horrible so you couldn't even bring yourself to care.

I quite enjoyed Babydriver.

Wild Wild West - such a pile of shite that I fell asleep in the cinema, then fell asleep at home when I tried to watch it again.

The Boat That Rocked, I think that's what it was called anyway. Haven't been to the cinema since!

What Lies Beneath (again, I think that's what it was called) was shit too.

Milady Yep, I completely agree. One of my friends was praising it to me because most of the main characters are women. Errrm, yes, stereotypically beautiful, two dimensional women only interested in sex and babies. Progress

Ted is the only film dh and I agreed we couldn't be arsed to finish watching.

The Lobster. I like films that are a little bit off but this was absolute shite. Complete waste of time. I followed it with The Fundamentals of Caring though so that made up for it a bit.

I loved the book of Girl on The Train, never seen the movie. I'll give it a miss then.

'Be Kind Rewind' on a flight to Chicago. Mind numbing. Then again Jack Black annoys the hell out of me.
