It's an interesting conversation

www.tiktok.com/@meetthealis/video/7503903907920317718. Is this unfeminist to feel like this or do they have a point?

We've failed as a society because teenage schoolgirls wear their skirts short??
You sound like my nan. Who was saying that in the 60s by the way.
And there were people saying it in the 50s when skirts weren't ankle length.
There were people saying it in the 1900s when skirts got tighter.
There were people saying it in the 1700s when women wore low cut dresses..
And so on and so on..
Men love to blame women and convince women to blame each other, for male sexual violence
It's pointing in judgement with one hand whilst wanking with the other.
Be appealing to men but under no circumstances look like you are actually aware you are appealing to men! And with anything you do it will all be assumed to be centred around how it makes men feel anyway.

And I'm asking you why do you think.
Think of some reasons for me why its not good for society

No. Just explain what you mean.

Wannabeblueysmum · 23/05/2025 07:03

As a survivor of rape and sexual assault I'm finding your posts quite disturbing op. Just so you know I was wearing what you would consider "appropriate" clothing for all of them. As was my Muslim friend when she was assaulted by her uncle.
Men are the problem. Stop blaming women for men's crimes. Also, men with good boundaries don't go on a raping spree when the sun comes out! Men are responsible for their own behaviour!

Exitin · 23/05/2025 07:08

Hadmysay · 23/05/2025 06:32

Walk around half naked in a sexually provocative manner.

The only half naked people I see are topless men in Manchester when the sun is barely out.

Hadmysay · 23/05/2025 07:28

Yes we have failed them as a society.
Please watch this if you can you will see the reasoning behind me thinking this.

We've created a society full of hypersexuality and objectification.
Objectification of young girls and their bodies and the promotion of such damaging and dangerous behaviour and history is repeating itself.
We went through this in the 60s when people like you thought it was good to encourage 14/15 year old girls to be sleeping with adult men.
In the 70s where it was encouraged for women to be super promiscuous just like men which has left generational trauma.

Watch this as well you will see the indoctrination that is going on.

It's blatant paedophilia masked as feminism. We've even had someone on here say it should be encouraged for 13 year old girls to dress sexually and why it's ok.

How do you know they have the highest incidents of rape?
You have nothing to back up your claim apart from guesswork.
This website says you are wrong btw. That doesn't mean I am 100 percent right and you are 100 percent wrong but guesswork shouldn't be something we use to back up our claims.
https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/rape-statistics-by-country

You don't believe that India and Pakistan have high incidences of rape?? You are clueless sorry but you are and that website doesn't mean anything because in those countries not many victims report it.

You seriously think you're less likely to get raped walking through a street in India than you are a street in England? You are delusional

I never once said how women dress is the only reason why rape happens nor did I say no women that dress conservatively are not raped

India has a lot a lot of incidents because it has a billion people.
It has more people in that country than the whole of Europe combined.
Percentage wise I showed you the statistics.
I would definitely say pakistan has less than england.

You're talking absolute rubbish. Domestic abuse and sexual violence towards women is sky high in Pakistan, rape is used as a punishment and rarely prosecuted.

Well that's obviously complete bullshit to anyone with a crumb of general knowledge.

Also that link you posted with the map the countries in grey there are no data for, so pretty much the entire world. Not a great source of information

I’m of Indian origin, I just don’t believe that is true. The pressure to not report is immense when it comes from your family. Eve teasing is common, girls who have complained about being raped have been murdered. It’s absolute bullshit to pretend that sexual violence against women and girls isn’t endemic in India and Pakistan. I remember a horrible case where a man anally raped his wife to death.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cm29drxjlxmo

So I call BULLSHIT on that. Just because a society and it’s institutions are blind to rape doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

A volunteer from a non-governmental organisation (NGO) holds a placard during a protest in New Delhi on October 11, 2020 to condemn the alleged gang-rape and murder of a teenaged woman in Bool Garhi village at Hathras in Uttar Pradesh state

Marital rape: India anger as judge frees man accused of raping wife who then died

The controversial ruling once again shines a spotlight on the issue of marital rape in India, which refuses to criminalise it.

Earlier this week, a high court judge in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh set free a 40-year-old man who was convicted by a trial court in 2019 of rape and unnatural sex with his wife, who died within hours of the alleged assault.

This is just horrific

There should be no need to discuss women’s behaviour or dress.

There should be if in contributes to the objectification and oppression of women

The oppression of women based on what they’re wearing is caused by men, not women. The problem is men.

Jbo17 · 23/05/2025 14:42

Hadmysay · 23/05/2025 04:51

Men wear way less than women

You and I both know that's not true.

Never have I gone out on a night out and seen a group of men walking around like this.
vm.tiktok.com/ZNdhHJqdj/
In cold weather btw.

It’s absolutely true. Never in my life have I seen a woman walk about completely topless in the U.K., ever. Yet have seen plenty of men do it. Didn’t hear about women raping the topless men. That’s because it’s men that are the problem. Not what women are wearing.

CarrieLite · 23/05/2025 18:41

Hadmysay · 23/05/2025 05:46

A thirteen year old walking to school in a rolled up skirt

Of course it's a sexual image.
Why do you think prostitutes in countries like thailand and colombia wear their skirts that length ?
For no reason?

Because men are perverts, that's why! I'm sorry that the men you know are so awful that you think they can't be around little girls in school skirts. You must be terrified whenever a male comes in the room unless you're wearing a full burkha. And those poor men, you know whose IQ is so low they're less intelligent than dogs. Maybe they should be locked up if they're so dangerous? Or muzzled in the same way XL bullies are required to be by law.

OP you're not taking in what people are saying. The reason rape statistics are so high in some countries and low in others is because of reporting.

In some countries like Pakistan, rape and domestic abuse are endemic and due to societies' attitude to women, rarely reported or prosecuted.

You are completely delusional if you think Pakistan is safer for women than the UK.

I'm glad we both agree then. So stop promoting constant sexual images. It does nothing positive for society or women so don't do it
