I’m of Indian origin, I just don’t believe that is true. The pressure to not report is immense when it comes from your family. Eve teasing is common, girls who have complained about being raped have been murdered. It’s absolute bullshit to pretend that sexual violence against women and girls isn’t endemic in India and Pakistan. I remember a horrible case where a man anally raped his wife to death.

OP you're not taking in what people are saying. The reason rape statistics are so high in some countries and low in others is because of reporting.

In some countries like Pakistan, rape and domestic abuse are endemic and due to societies' attitude to women, rarely reported or prosecuted.

You are completely delusional if you think Pakistan is safer for women than the UK.
