Thanks to ToccataAndFudge for the name

Right, so this is where those of us with depression can write our lists of daily achievements!

...hopefully tomorrow's list will be better than today's...

yes that seems to be me as well a lot of the time.

Right now I've still not done anything other than feed myself

Have done no tidying, no packing.

House a mess

Kids home in an hour

Feel like crap

Been emotional sounding board for 2 friends, one of who's dp has left her!

Dealt with emotional fallout from a family crisis (my dad calling for support)

Put on washing machine (needed to clean only servicable bra!)

Crap day!

LittleMarshmallow · 01/04/2010 14:34

I was meant to be following this healthy eating plan for me and ds for the next week that I agreed with the hv but despite going to both tesco and asda yesterday I dont have the ingredients to make the tea listed on the sheet for tonight, and even if i did I just dont have the energy to do it so beans on toast it is again for ds at least.

ToccataAndFudge · 01/04/2010 14:52

arghh - I have to find the motivation to do something soon.

Still done nothing (apart from feed myself)

Have our Agape meal/service tonight.

I need to put clean clothes on, I really could do with a shower, I'll need to find something for the DS's for dinner, I'm behind on my washing, the house is a tip

LittleMarshmallow · 01/04/2010 15:02

Toccata what about just pick two things, so shower and dressed and ds tea?

allegrageller · 01/04/2010 15:11

you're all doing well ladies by the look of it....weegie i really think being an emotional sounding board for your friends and dad is amazing stuff when you are feeling shite yourself.

LittleM I thought beans on toast was quite a healthy meal (by my standards that is)- brown toast, perfect!

still haven't got round to putting you on FB, that's going to take some serious research finding you all with clues...

this pm have counselled bereaved student, attempted to read serious book and take notes (fail), and sent, er, lots and lots of emails, some actually work related...have had the odd cry at my desk as well, really feel shit atm but best to be single if relationship is not working out.

memoo · 01/04/2010 15:13

Feeding yourself is good toccata!!!! the other day we were both struggling to do eat anything. Go and get a shower and get dressed, do it now. you will feel better for that at least.

allegrageller · 01/04/2010 15:17

yeah second that shower always makes things look better- so does a walk- hell to get out though sometimes isn't it.

weegee got your CAT, you will be FB'd pronto...x

LittleMarshmallow · 01/04/2010 15:17

yeah alle beans on toast is healthy but prob not 4 days in a row but well at least it is food that is the important thing.

it is always sad when you break up with someone even if it is for the right reasons.

ToccataAndFudge · 01/04/2010 15:19

I know - I have to find clean clothes first - and something that looks vaguely smart(ish) for this evening as well.

MathsMadMummy · 01/04/2010 15:30

feel a bit better now... DH took DS out to the bank (fun trip!) and DD had a nap while I had a bath. Going to attempt to take her into town to meet DH and DS now.

will try to find you all on FB this weekend

OP posts:
ToccataAndFudge · 01/04/2010 15:30

ok just looked and discovered I had no clean bra's or trousers, so have just put a load on a quick wash, hopefully be able to get them dried on the radiators to wear later.

allegrageller · 01/04/2010 15:32

yeah I ran totally out of pants last week, that was horrible having to get through the morning commando until i'd got one pair vaguely dry on the radiator

ToccataAndFudge · 01/04/2010 15:34

doesn't help that I keep crashing on the sofa fully dressed - so keep ending up wearing the same clothes again the next day

allegrageller · 01/04/2010 15:54

bah weegee i still can't find you on FB, so flipping many to get through and no search facility! will keep trying at weekend, got to go and teach my ever-enthusiastic first years now...

memoo · 01/04/2010 16:31

Right I'm going to do the face book page as suggested that way it will be a lot easier to find each other, is that ok with everyone?

ToccataAndFudge · 01/04/2010 16:33

Are you all members of the Mumsnet group?

If so I can start a thread there called FOWBU (as per the title ) and we can add each other from that thread?)

ToccataAndFudge · 01/04/2010 16:37

have started a thread on the Mumsnet group discussion board.

memoo · 01/04/2010 16:41

did a face book page too, called it 'keep calm and carry on' as suggested. Have invited those of you that I am already friends with on FB, if I haven't invited you cos I can't find you then just reqest to join. as people join I can make everyone admins so everyone can control the group, accept other members etc.

ASecretLemonadeDrinker · 01/04/2010 16:42

O - can I join please? I was thinking of starting something like this (I was one of the founder member of the Flylady threads but that's toom uch nowadays ) Today is easy to list - I have done diddly squat , am hoping DHs 4 days off will get me back into some sort of swing. I am pregnant too which doesn't help and feeling physically crap, but trying not to use it as a cop out too much Is the FB group going the be private? I am on T&Fs friend list anyway (I am sure) - pic of a boy blowing out a candle SB, but will hunt down the mumsnet group for info.

Right, I will boot myself up the backside and go and sweep the living room floor (now I have written it I will look a wally if I don't do it )

ToccataAndFudge · 01/04/2010 16:49

Secret - I know the feeling my slatterns/listmaker thread is going from strength to strength but it's too much for me right now as well.

Have just sent you an invite for the group.

It's closed group so can be found on search results, but people need to be accepted to join, and until they join they can't see the wall/discussions/etc etc etc

ASecretLemonadeDrinker · 01/04/2010 16:52

Cor you're quick! I have joined And swept my floor

ToccataAndFudge · 01/04/2010 17:17

I have ordered pizza for dinner (got a 40% of any orders over £25 email this afternoon) and had a shower.

I have a clean top, pants (phew only just though!) and bra..........still waiting on my jeans.

Why do clothes take so much longer to dry on the radiators when you need them???

Sat here wrapped in towel now

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 01/04/2010 17:21

Will someone invite me to the FB group

initials J T picture of me blonde hair (NOT bythepowerofgreyskull who is also on facebook)
