I've been off work nearly three months now and am just really fed up with myself now. i've refused any meds but I just cant get over it. I started my counselling last week, and am hopeful she can sort me out. it was caused by by son having an accident, and juggling work etc which just got too much and made me cry.
Id had a lot of panic attacks but they are getting better but now I just feel worried when i go out, and that i want to cry.
Today I just can't breathe. I don't know if i'm worse today because i'm due on too.
I just really feel i've lost my way and lost confidence in myself, and i dont know what to do to get myself back.
I'm all crabby and wound up with people too - no patience.
I think the doctor is fed up with me too and i'm also worried she won't keep giving me sick notes, i'm never usually ill.......

Here is the blurb about drinking wine - from the nhs site (news)

?Half a glass of wine a day can add five years to your life? The Daily Telegraph has said, claiming that new research shows that that light, long-term consumption boosted longevity, ?with the biggest increase caused by wine?.

The study behind this article ran from 1960 to 2000, and enrolled 1373 men born between 1900 and 1920. The results suggest that men consuming an average of 8g of alcohol from wine per day (equivalent to about half a small glass) may live about 5 years longer than those who don?t consume alcohol.

sorry moose are the question marks for me~my post was probably incomprehensible sorry!!

I've had very sore feet for a while and haven't been able to walk comfortably but went to town today and realised going up a size or two helps~which is totally duh of me not to have tried that before.I also got some special orthotic insoles from boots that are supposed to be good.

Again sorry if I made no sense!

YommyMommy · 09/05/2009 20:14

Hi girls,

How are you all?

Who are you baking for moose?

How did you trip into town go morning?

I am sitting here stuffing my face with a chocolate muffin out of mark n spencer...its discusting so not going to finish it! Yuk! Waiting on BGT coming on then an early night I think. dh is out for the night! Not happy with him, but thats tomorrows argument! Men!

Hope you all have a nice night! x x x

morningsun · 09/05/2009 21:11

I've got something called plantar fasciitis which is pain in the soft tissues of the feet~but they are also a bit swollen hence the size change.
Town was great yommy~I love going to town~ its one of the things I enjoyed even when I was really low and now I'm better I like to get the odd thing to wear and a takeaway from M & S on saturdays.
Hope all you girls had a good day!

YommyMommy · 10/05/2009 10:50

Morning Girls!

Morning, thats great that you love going into town! I don;t think I would mind so much if it wasn't so closed in! I have no problems getting out of the house, its when I have to go into places I start gettin g worked up! Did you take med to help you kick the anxiety in the butt morning?

I feel like I'm going to have a good day today! I really love sundays! We usually visit the MIL for a while ds1 loves her so much! DS2 not so sure!

Hope you are all well!

hi girls, lovely day here. Am going to garden centre in min to look for a clematis to cover a wall in my garden. Little two terrors gone out with dh to work on the cricket wicket.

Big un glued to ps2 fifa game with mate (who if he stays any longer/more often I think i will claim child benefit for!) His dad has given him no dinner, and he wont let me make him any - how sad for him.

I made cake for my dad birthday - it rose hugely, and i covered it in galaxy - yum!

Morning, I just thought you post was so funny. But you obviously didn't twig that when writing it! i just couldn't understand if the shoes were tight why you wouldn't automatically try the next size up! Silly billy!

OP posts:
morningsun · 10/05/2009 15:27

Oh I get it now~you thought I meant in the shoe shop ~ I meant I ve been the same size all my adult life, but have sore feet and tho they're not tight on the toes my feet have swollen and need more space in general.
I was making a joke that I had not bothered getting new shoes for the last 3 mos even tho feet so sore.
It's not getting any clearer is it
and still got sore feet!!

morningsun · 10/05/2009 22:36

Yommy ~ no I didn't take any meds at all.
The reason for this was it seemed to be more a stress/trauma reaction to a specific thing, but looking back there may have been an element of depression too.
I had disturbed sleep, early waking and lost weight which is an indication for ADs and maybe they would have reduced the time I felt bad for~who knows.
What I wanted at the time was CBT but was referred for EMDR which didn't really work for me.
So I just gradually felt better on my own.

Morning girls, sounds like you all had good weekends. How was your ds's dance show moose? I really enjoyed dd1's on saturday, she did really well. Didn't get home til nearly 11pm then she had another performance yesterday afternoon, poor little thing must be shattered, but she enjoyed it.

I'm glad you treated yourself to a new pair of shoes morning! Do your feet hurt all the time or just when in shoes?

I feel ok today, still aching, but it's not getting any worse. Am enjoying my childfree morning after the weekend, is so peaceful. Just done an hours housework, it always looks like a bombsite after the weekend

mooseloose · 11/05/2009 11:24

My house always looks like a bomb site on a Mon morning - thats why I love not working on a Monday - peace and quiet to tidy up!!

Bit achy today, not been out running much because I have no partner now, but did A fast two miles last night (before Davinchi code came on).

Have been busy all morn. And am going to allotment soon. I have been waking up jittery for the last few morns, and shaky all day. i think its the adrenaline because i am challenging my self by going back to work?

DS dance show was great. it was a fund raising night to raise funds to send a troop to Italy for the dance championships. A few of the classes did their dance - but the real show is not until July. I love to watch them, especially the boys (they are so cool) and the girls Irish, they are so cool. they have about 50 boys who go, age from 5 to 18. They also had some 'real' street dancers come on.

Have a nice day xx Tis going to be sunny again later.

blissa · 11/05/2009 11:39

Thats sounds great moose. It's lovely when they have something they really enjoy and are proud of. Keep feeling bad that dd2 doesn't 'do' anything. She tried ballet for a few weeks but it wasn't really her. One of her friends does Karate, might look into that.

Enjoy the allotment, the sun is shining here but it's pretty windy, at least the washing will dry quickly!

candyfluff · 11/05/2009 13:26

morningsun · 11/05/2009 13:43

Hi candy!
Is your big ds in yr 6?
Had migraines myself during pregnancies~the auras are an odd experience, hope you OK nowxx

candyfluff · 11/05/2009 13:51

yes he's in year 6

morningsun · 11/05/2009 14:07

well I hope they go OK for him!
My little ds has assessments this week at end of key stage 2 but he is off with cold today~was wheezy in the night.

You get the results in the end of year report I think~tho they might tell you towards the end of term when they get them through.

mooseloose · 11/05/2009 22:32

Hi girls, candy I have a garage full of stuff for my car boot that I never get around to doing! dh goes mad about all the junk. let me know how much you make! I suffer from migraines, but more settled now.I once had that aura, like flashes in a circle and it scared me so i rang nhs direct. they asked me if i had a headache come on after- I did but it wasn't too bad. Nowadays mine start with a pain behind my eye and a big thirst.

Morning can't you sort your feet out? Must be something you can do so you don't have to put up with it?

little ds is year 2. he got sats too, but he doesn't know that.

I have a bad back from digging - have a hot bottle on it!
