I've been off work nearly three months now and am just really fed up with myself now. i've refused any meds but I just cant get over it. I started my counselling last week, and am hopeful she can sort me out. it was caused by by son having an accident, and juggling work etc which just got too much and made me cry.
Id had a lot of panic attacks but they are getting better but now I just feel worried when i go out, and that i want to cry.
Today I just can't breathe. I don't know if i'm worse today because i'm due on too.
I just really feel i've lost my way and lost confidence in myself, and i dont know what to do to get myself back.
I'm all crabby and wound up with people too - no patience.
I think the doctor is fed up with me too and i'm also worried she won't keep giving me sick notes, i'm never usually ill.......

Yes they are special warm air trapping holes for extra insulation. I'll make a packet in the winter!

mooseloose · 20/04/2009 21:57

Thanks grey skull. But I would feel a prat if it fell on the floor when I pulled out with one of my tissues!! Can't risk it.

But its a nice thing for you to suggest.

I will ask dh what lovely thing I could write. Sure he can come up with a few choice ones! Things like 'the kitchen looks lovely if she cleans it' 'Our bedroom carpet is beautiful when the ironing hiding it is put away' or 'she leaves a lovely pile of junk at the bottom of the stairs'.

moose~i'm sure your dh and older dcs can iron and take stuff upstairs!sounds like our house where the resident dogsbody has always done everything~but not any more as I am now very lazy!

mooseloose · 20/04/2009 22:12

I must confess i really can't be bothered to do much when the children are on holiday, it's like there is no point! You are absolutely right, they could help. Ds really needs to start giving a hand, I must sort that. he will now open his curtains in the morning (won't consider the tie backs or open the window. Will pull the quilt up, but not straight. Cant put socks or pants in basket or sweet wrappers in bin. can't hang school clothes up. But does get himself up, cuppa and breakfast and put on wii!!
But have tidied up all day today and is gorgeous!

oh mine are hopelessly spoilt!I try to be firmer with little ds so he is more helpful later on!

mooseloose · 20/04/2009 22:23

my 9 year old is better than the 14 yo. But its quicker to do it myself really!

Good luck moose!
Can you put on a completely calm front and don't be drawn into conversations of "how you are "etc~its noone's business but your own~just say"I'm really good thanks"and believe it!

Morning Girls,

How are all ur days going??? I am having a good day so far, I am shattered today as my 6 month old ds decided to get up at 6 this morning. I never slept well last night! I was in too much pain form overdoing it in the garden yesterday, lol! Hoping to get out there again, if the sun comes out it was very relaxing and I loved it!

My ds (3.2) is in nursery every day from 9 til 11.15. My dear husband is home for a few weeks so he took him over this morning and picked him up too. Dh called to say ds was upset when he went in to get him, teacher said he was fine most of the morning but got upset towards the end asking for us I really hope he settles in a few days!

Moose, how did your hour at work go??? Did you manage to get through the office okay? I had that problem in my old work - had to walk through the open plan office to get to my seat at the ever end - nightmare some days as everyone wanted to speak to me on the way, lol! Hope it wasn;t too bad though!

Hope you all have a good day x x x

P.S. HAve any of you tried and hypnotherapy diy CD for anxiety??? When I was going for hypnotherapy I was given a CD and it was really very good! I am going to start listening to it again see if it helps any!

P.S. Your house sounds exactky like mine! x x x

blissa · 21/04/2009 11:58

Hi all

Sun is shining here and I've had ds out to the park on his bike. Think it wears me out more than him!

Ds went through a stage of getting upset when I dropped him off at pre-school, he was fine once I'd left it was just the parting. I think they all go through little fazes when they're settling in. What does your dh do yommy? Is he away a lot? My dp works very long hours so I do most of the childcare on my own, it's hard work isn't it.

Mil gave me a relaxation cd, not sure if that's the same thing? I haven't tried it yet but she said it's really good.

Hope you're ok moose xx

blissa · 21/04/2009 12:01

Oh and my cross stitch arrived this morning so if I haven't started within the next week give me a kick up the bum

YommyMommy · 21/04/2009 12:43

Hi Blissa,

My dh works on and off shore doing inspections on steel structures. He can be away a lot, just depends if there is work for him! Yeah it is pretty hard when he is away, especially when I know we are not going to see him for a while!

Good luck with the cross stitch, I hope you are starting off small as it takes ages to complete them! I used to do them when my first ds was a baby, but I still haven;t finished one! lol! What are you doing???

I meant to say to you about your shakey legs - nothing wrong with your back just the anxiety! I used to get that all the time and would freak that I wouldn't make it back to the car, house, etc!

Anxiety Sucks x x x

That's great about the cbt, I'm still waiting to hear about councelling.

Glad the kids are back at school! This weather is lovely and I've been making more of an effort to get out. Makes me feel more tired though

candyfluff · 21/04/2009 18:23

hi blissa ,glad your ok
the warmer weather is something we should all be gratefull for
i have a beautiful cherry blossom tree next to my house ,wish it was there all the time.
how many kids do you have ?

blissa · 21/04/2009 18:58

I have 3, 2 girls and a boy. DD1 is at Brownies at the moment so I just have the younger 2 here at the mo, nearly bedtime , how about you?

Our garden is pretty over grown but an upside of that is there is lots of blossom on the trees. Dd2 picked me some flowers from the garden to put in a jar on the windowsil, cheers the place up a bit!

candyfluff · 21/04/2009 19:13

yeah 3 here too
2 boys and one girl

blissa · 21/04/2009 19:25

Just had a look at your pics, they're all gorgeous

Now that those 2 are in bed I have about 15 minutes peace before dd1 gets home, should do the lunch boxes I suppose, I hate that job for some reason

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 21/04/2009 20:45

Just checking in - anyone heard from Mooseloose?

How has your day been greyskull?

mooseloose · 21/04/2009 21:24

Hi blissa I'm ok thanks tho not as splendiferously ok as yesterday how are you?

blissa · 21/04/2009 21:37

I'm not too bad thanks, trying to keep busy and making the most of this lovely weather. Got my INR check tomorrow-I had a dream last night that it was drastically low, could be to do with me reading about Hughes Syndrome on another thread in general health yesterday, wasn't a good move!
