Quick vent required Had PND with my ds now 19months) and largely over it. But I hate days like today when I wake up feeling crap - just low, and feeling coldy doesn't help my mood either. Anyway he's awake on the early side for him (I shouldn't complain he sleeps v. well) but I just don't want to go and get him up and start the day Bu**er why does typing make me cry?

Feel selfish typing this, as I AM feeling so much better than a few months ago. I'm sure all mums get low days, I just feel so incompitant when I do 1 thing at a time I guess.....

mummytosteven · 13/04/2005 22:10

always knew I should have gone for Stephen rather than Steven

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 22:10

mummytosteven · 13/04/2005 22:10

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 22:10

You know it makes sense! Does your dh smoke?

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 22:10

Cor-you could command some respect for seven kids though,eh!???

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 22:11

Talk to the hand!Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

mummytosteven · 13/04/2005 22:11

think there's people on here with 5 or 6, don't think there's a mum of 7

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 22:12

Not sure. I think you would get people dropping condoms through your letterbox! I went to a Mother and Toddler group yesterday and everyone did the jaw dropping open trick when I mentioned I had four children. Imagine if it had been seven! They would have carted me away to the funny farm.

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 22:13

I though thats where you lived anyway, lmum!!!?

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 22:15

Yes, you got me there!

mummytosteven · 13/04/2005 22:17

dropinthe · 14/04/2005 10:49

What shall we call our new thread-something positive???
Hope you are both well today-Ive done masses of housework this morning but now thinking of what I can do this arvo with two sons and a very grey day-oh yes,and ds2 with the a weeks worth of chicken pox!! He's asleep at the mo-oldest watching Tikkabilla but tres bored!

Lonelymum · 14/04/2005 12:42

You think up a positive name for the new thread and then let us know by posting here or I will never find it.

I am not feeling very positive today.

dropinthe · 16/04/2005 08:00

Sorry, like you not been that positive lately!!
Could kill a cow if it crossed me!!!
Not even PMT-just been in a foul one for the last two days-especially with the kids-they ANNOY me SO much sometimes, although not doing anything different than usual. I have been having some awful, broken nights sleep lately-I wake up ten times more tired than when I went to bed-its most definitely time to stop breastfeeding ds2-he's had his fill and I need some sleep!!
Anyway, moan over-how are you this weekend??Up to anything nice?-How are you feeling about the house now?
I've got to work all weekend so not much to look forward to for me apart from adult conversation(as much as you can get in a supermarket!!) and to get away from pesky kids!!!

dropinthe · 16/04/2005 08:01

Mummytosteven-hows those seven dwarfs?

mummytosteven · 16/04/2005 09:21

they're doing the housework for me right now

if only - a girl can always dream

have managed to get out of going to my friend's cousin's hen night tonight - am too antisocial to want to go on a hen night with a bunch of random strangers most of whom I've never met. and got the joys of a trip to the HV on Monday - have had some nightmare experiences with my old HV so have been trying to avoid any HVs as much as possible - somehow I like the social savoir faire to make the right noises to the baby health professionals!

dropinthe · 16/04/2005 09:42

Know exactly what you mean about going out-except I dont even do it with my friends anymore! They all went to a posh club in London last night amd I made all the excusues under the sun not to go! I just dont feel comfortable and/or confident enough anymore although am a very outgoing person-(the maddest out of all of them once)
I was the only one of them to put weight on in the last few years,(some have kids, most dont) and it really gave my confidence a bashing1 I know that sounds petty but it just did-I rather just go to restaurants or have dinner/wine nights at home!
Saddo!!

Lonelymum · 16/04/2005 21:29

Hi, can I join in the moan? I am having such a crap time right now, I have spent all day composing what I couls write on Mumsnet and now I am here I can't be bothered, that is how crap I feel. I just wish the entire world would leave me alone sometimes.

Lonelymum · 16/04/2005 21:47

Oh sorry, i thought you were all around now but I realise now you posted this morning! Perhaps I will catch you tomorrow.

dropinthe · 20/04/2005 18:22

Sorry, not been around-how's it going Lmum?-you know, since I read that you abhor bad spelling/punctuation, I watch everything I write like a hawk-sad,eh? I DO so want to be accepted!!
