Quick vent required Had PND with my ds now 19months) and largely over it. But I hate days like today when I wake up feeling crap - just low, and feeling coldy doesn't help my mood either. Anyway he's awake on the early side for him (I shouldn't complain he sleeps v. well) but I just don't want to go and get him up and start the day Bu**er why does typing make me cry?

Feel selfish typing this, as I AM feeling so much better than a few months ago. I'm sure all mums get low days, I just feel so incompitant when I do 1 thing at a time I guess.....

Noooooo. If dh gets up at 6, so do the kids, so I get woken up too. Then dh leaves at 7:15 and I am on duty for the next 12 hours. What a life!

Been back to our house in Sussex. Tidied the garden, went food shopping, had MIL for the day on Easter Day, dossed around, cleaned the house, went to stay with my parents. Today dd was 5 and we went to the zoo for the day.

What have you been up to?

dropinthe · 30/03/2005 22:13

Worked Easter Saturday and Monday-stuffed myself stupid at dh aunts house on Sunday, ate dodgy prawns and threw up at work on Monday-not alot since-Met Two MNETTERS at Bluewater shopping centre today which was nice and now pissed!!(only a little!!)

Lonelymum · 30/03/2005 22:16

The prawns would have ruined it for me personally, but glad you had a better time today. What work do you do?

dropinthe · 30/03/2005 22:22

Lonelymum · 30/03/2005 22:30

God I hope you didn't throw up while on the checkout! That would put a few shoppers off their shopping wouldn't it!

dropinthe · 30/03/2005 22:36

L/mum-are you around??

Lonelymum · 31/03/2005 15:15

Yes. God what a dull day it is round here. I am feeling post holiday blues today! How are you going?

dropinthe · 31/03/2005 23:07

Sorry, been at work and v busy today! Am fine thank you-where did you go away to??Did you have time to relax-you deserve a medal having four kids!! What ages are they??

Lonelymum · 01/04/2005 20:05

Only went to our house and then to my mum and dads. It was all quite relaxing really and five days long which was good. Had my sister to visit today with her dd. That was more hectic!

I don't know about a medal for having four kids. I free sterilization might be more appropriate!

Anyway, you never said, did you throw up at the checkout or did you get half way down an aisle?

How many kids do you have? Is that your family complete?

dropinthe · 01/04/2005 20:50

Are you still around L/mum?? Hubby due in soon so trying to get my pennies worth before he starts moaning about me being on here the old git!!!

Lonelymum · 01/04/2005 21:56

Oh sorry Dropinthe, my dh came in, sighed, said which are you doing? (ie Mumsnetting or watching eastenders - hard to say which he hates more!) so I opted for eastenders while he had the computer and played his war games. (Boring man!) Only just got him to slope off to bed. Are you there?

Lonelymum · 01/04/2005 22:42

You are clearly not around Dropinthe. Will we ever meet again in cyberspace? I probably won't be on tomorrow so I suggest you send me a message then, and then I will reply on Sunday when you are checking out (working I mean). We could string out a conversation about nothing at all for weeks and weeks!

dropinthe · 02/04/2005 08:24

No,I too had to vacate as hubby in a huff as I had been on the computer last two nights until pat 11. Have to spend some time with the old git-I too wont be back on until either Sunday or Monday too!! Have a good weekend!

Lonelymum · 03/04/2005 21:09

Dropinthe! I have seen you are posting! Could we manage a simultaneous conversation?

dropinthe · 03/04/2005 21:13

I think we may!!!

Lonelymum · 03/04/2005 21:22

Sorry, I couldn't see this thread on the board and thought it had dropped off.

HI! How went the weekend?

dropinthe · 03/04/2005 21:29

Neither did I since responding!! Not a bad one-it is dh Birthday today and as we speak he asleep in a drunken stupor in front of the tv after an afternoon in the pub! Saying that,I cant talk-had 6 double G&Ts over the space of a bout three hours but am as sober as a gin wife!!!
What abou t you???

Lonelymum · 03/04/2005 21:32

Yeah good. Found out on Friday, the bank manager will lend us more money than we thought, can thus afford a more expensive house than we thought. Instantly went out and viewed a house which we both like and might end up buying!

dropinthe · 03/04/2005 21:33

Fair play-still in Bristol?

dropinthe · 03/04/2005 21:33

If Ive got wrong thats because Ive got a crap memory!!

Lonelymum · 03/04/2005 21:34

OMG dh has sloped off to bed casting me dark looks!
