Quick vent required Had PND with my ds now 19months) and largely over it. But I hate days like today when I wake up feeling crap - just low, and feeling coldy doesn't help my mood either. Anyway he's awake on the early side for him (I shouldn't complain he sleeps v. well) but I just don't want to go and get him up and start the day Bu**er why does typing make me cry?

Feel selfish typing this, as I AM feeling so much better than a few months ago. I'm sure all mums get low days, I just feel so incompitant when I do 1 thing at a time I guess.....

I get that most nights-its just jealousy!

Lonelymum · 03/04/2005 21:38

Been meaning to ask, what is with the name?

dropinthe · 03/04/2005 21:42

My mnet name??? A couple of meanings really-on the m/net score it means I like to drop in the conversation-on a larger scale it means I feel like a drop in the ocean and pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things!

Lonelymum · 03/04/2005 21:45

When I see your name, it makes me think of absinthe (is that how it is spelt?). Right, off to bed now before dh divorces me. He won't be getting anything tonight though as my period has just started!

dropinthe · 03/04/2005 21:47

I'm trying absinthe for the first time in a few weeks time-bought dh a wine tasting ticket at Vineopilis in London and if you upgrade tickets you get two shots of!Whey hey! Good night, sleep tight, blah, blah!!!

dropinthe · 08/04/2005 13:09

See...I havent spoken to you since Sunday-was it me talking about absinthe??

dropinthe · 09/04/2005 09:18

LMUM-Read last night that you cant abide drunkeness(I seem to remember that was in yourself-didnt realise it was in others too!) so I better be off then as I think most convos I've had with you includes how much wine I have consumed that night! I'm not a wino, really!!

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 21:33

Hiya Dropinthe. Oh is this why you think we aren't friends? Don't be daft lass! Live and let live, is my motto. Just don't get drunk and THROW UP near me!!!!!!

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 21:35

Come on girl! Where are you?

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 21:38

Oh, I get it. Your brooding dh must have come in and dragged you off to bed. Oh well...

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 21:39

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 21:40

HOORAY

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 21:43

Its nice to feel wanted! Hope you know, you cant kid a kidder!! Anyway, how have you been??

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 21:46

Stressed. Bought a house yesterday and I still don't know if I really want it. That's not good really , is it?

How have you been? Hey I don't care if you get drunk every night. I am only a prig when it comes to me!

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 21:55

Do you think ETsmum is still feeling down? Does she mind we have pinched her thread?

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 21:57

I only get a bit tipsy maybe two nights a week-I just talk rubbish the rest!!
Do tell me about your new house-why do you feel its not the right one?
Ive not really seen ETsmum much on here lately-shall we start a thread apologising for monopoly??

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 21:58

By the way, havent smoked for five weeks today!! HURRAY FOR ME!!!

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 22:00

Apologising for a board game? Nah I wouldn't bother. It's very popular world wide I believe.

House: too expensive, too small, needs too much work. That's about it. I have to be careful as I realise a lot of people can't afford to buy their own home so I don't want to sound spoilt. It is just that I thought buying a property was meant to be exciting, but I just feel stressed.

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 22:01

Oh sod it, I was going to ask about your smoking but you got there before me. Read a poster in the GP's the other day about the benefits you fell when you stop smoking. Do you feel better for it?

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 22:02

Out of control???????

mummytosteven · 13/04/2005 22:02

hello there, can I interlope on this thread too.
Hope you are doing a bit better now ETsmum.

LM - I always think looking at the first one or two houses is fun, then after that the whole thing becomes hellish, as you realise that there's no such thing as a bargain house - all the things you like are what other people like and therefore cost more money! best of luck with it anyway

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 22:04

Much better-had awful spots around the jawline-apparently linked to the reproduction hormones-have greatly improved-dont look so grey-can breathe deeply-have shed a great deal of guilt and in general feel good about life!! Cant be bad,eh?
(Havent shed a great deal of weight though-probably put on a pound for each week stopped though!)

dropinthe · 13/04/2005 22:06

AT LAST-SOME COMPANY!!!LOL!!!
MUMMYTOSEVEN MEET MUMMYTOFOUR!!
(Thats an idea l/m-how about changing your name to a more positive one to create a more ambient karma???)

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 22:07

Got more money dropinthe? Or is it all beig spent on beauty products and extra food? Not that I am suggesting anything by that.... God the internet can be hard. Not sure how to joke on here anymore.

Lonelymum · 13/04/2005 22:08

No I like Lonelymum - very occasionally you get a sympathetic sould who feels sorry for me! Ha! If only they knew the truth!
