Secretstars - I wasn't sure that it was working either, I have quite a severe problem which at times results in agoraphobia, it's very frustrating as I am a very confident person and have been 'struck' by this ridiculous illness.

I know that it works because I weaned myself off them 2 years ago believing I was 'cured' and I became so much worse. I then had to start taking them again and wait for them to take effect. It can take a long time and it is gradual so you may not notice it until you do something that you probably wouldn't have done a few months ago without panicking.

It's not a quick fix and you may have to take them for a long time, it's no different to any long term illness requiring medication so don't feel you have to stop at all. You'll get reviews with your GP where you can alter the dosage until it's right for you.

Good luck!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hope you have a lovely day and good luck with the college interview.

Not sure if its worth retaking GCSEs depending on the area of work you are looking to get into, a vocational qualification like an NVQ is usually more relevent to the employer. Alot of courses offer basic numeracy/literacy anyway which is the only GCSEs employers care about.

thewiltedrose · 04/06/2008 12:32

lol thanks fiodyl its not until 13th though

Went for college inerview.
Im going to do childcare.
Btec national diploma.
Stopped off at park after but could only stay half an hour before i got to hot and sweaty and my heart was going ten to the dozen i thought i was going to pass out
Felt like shitty mummy then couldnt even run after my kids.

OP posts:
fiodyl · 04/06/2008 17:07

Thats gr8 im sure u will b really good at it as u have already got experience!
I would love to do childcare but probly cany cos of bastard SS.

Its been really hot here to so not suprised u was knackered @ the park,30mins of park time is better than no park time at all.
And I don't run round after kids in the park anyway,do enough of that at home. At the park they get a chance 2 do wt they like and I get a chance to just sit on a bench an have a fag!!!

thewiltedrose · 06/06/2008 20:33

Am quite tired today, barely been able to move off the bed all day so kids had to play in rooms most of it which they didnt enjoy.
Top it all off my hayfever seems to be going haywire
