Hi all
Well I've picked up my prescription for citalopram I'm hoping to start taking it tomorrow morning but I'm already really anxious about it 😢
Anyone want to hold my hand

@Heather104 me too as work is a stress factor in itself at the moment

@Llh1979 yes I’m glad too I’ve been out 3 weeks. Definitely couldn’t work right now.

@Llh1979 I’m doing ok. Still get a little anxious but nothing I can’t handle right now. How are you doing today?

@Heather104 still feeling a little nausea this morning but it passed after about an hour so glad to hear your feeling abit better it's certainly not a quick fix

@Llh1979 definitely not wish it worked faster. Just got to take it day my day.

@Heather104 that's it and with ADs not working for me it does worry me alot but I try not to if that makes sense

@Llh1979 yes absolutely makes sense. I feel the same way. It’s hard to try and make sense of it all

@Heather104 it really is a battle in itself trying to understand it all but hopefully we will both get there

@Llh1979 gosh I hope so I just want to feel good again lol and motivation.

@Heather104 yes me too I'm hoping once restrictions are lifted slighty things will get better

Hi @Heather104 I had a bad night with waking constantly but no nausea today how are you feeling

@Llh1979 well I guess that’s good. So the medicine is working a bit for the nausea. Not sleeping isn’t good though. I’m not to bad, a little headache today.

@Heather104 I'm trying to stay away from sleeping tablets so may try some kalms night

Just so you know it can make you feel sick, so do take it easy for a bit just in case. Well done op for dealing with whatever it is.

@Heather104 I'm doing ok no nausea for 3 days now 🤞 I've got jobs done around the house and eaten a full meal
How are you doing is it about 4 weeks since you started on your tablets now?

@Llh1979 good I’m so glad you’re feeling better. Yes it was 4 weeks Saturday. Still have my days, going to try another 2 weeks at least.

@Heather104 what mg are you on now are you feeling any benefit from them

@Llh1979 I’m still on 5mg I’ve never went up. I do notice a difference it’s still there just not as bad. I had very mild anxiety so I think that’s probably why 5 helps.

@Heather104 a friend of mine said the other day (shes on sertraline) that the worries/anxiety are still there she just doesnt react to them the way she used to and it actually hit home that yes tablets wont change the worries/anxiety but they do help with how you deal with it

Good days and bad days had a bad week last week due to having to have a camera placed down my throat it was utterly awful 😢 doctor wants me to try mirtazapine but I'm very hesitant
I've been looking into cbd oil but it's so expensive
How are you getting on now? Lovely to hear from you
