Hi, can I bring my cat he's helping me calm down at the moment.

WristBoundLatexBitch · 26/10/2016 23:45

I love cats. I don't want to out myself but my cat is on here Grin I need cat pics lol

OP posts:
WristBoundLatexBitch · 26/10/2016 23:46

And now I'm crying for no reason. I need a kick up the butt

OP posts:
AnxiousCarer · 26/10/2016 23:48

Its ok Wrist crying is ok, no kicking butts in the safe room, have a hug and I'll lend you my other cat for a bit.

Wolfiefan · 26/10/2016 23:50

No kicking of the butts. I don't care if this is MN. Gentle hug? I have a tortie asleep at the end of the bed. She may cuddle. But then again she may attack!
I'm wolfie. Depression and anxiety and I'm really supposed to be asleep now. Hey ho.

WristBoundLatexBitch · 26/10/2016 23:50

Your a lovely person. Yes crying is good.

Hmmm we need a name, the safe place for all the people that need it

OP posts:
AnxiousCarer · 26/10/2016 23:52

Hi Wolfie, I should be asleep too, might try soon now all you lovely people have helped me calm down.

WristBoundLatexBitch · 26/10/2016 23:52

How did she get in my post

Even she don't like cuddles. Feeling a little vulnerable at the moment but I don't get why

OP posts:
Wolfiefan · 26/10/2016 23:53

There isn't always a why for me!
My other cat is swearing in her sleep!
Bonkers.

saltededamummy · 26/10/2016 23:53

Hi. No butt kicking from here, just empathy. Have a nice cuppa too, replace the fluid from those tears Brew
I can sleep cos my legs are giving me pain & my general anxiety is giving me pain too. And my 13yo DS is still awake, so I'm stressing about why that might be.
How are your cats now?

Wolfiefan · 26/10/2016 23:55

Actually cat at foot of bed jumped down. Silent ninja kitty. Hence other cat awake and swearing!
Yep salted pain here too! Right must try and do the sleepy thing.

WristBoundLatexBitch · 26/10/2016 23:55

I don't do hot drinks. My water bottle it is but I'm needing to pee lots lol, must step away from evil wine. I'm just a barrel of laughs Hmm

OP posts:
saltededamummy · 26/10/2016 23:57

Can't sleep. Duh.
It's obvious we aren't alone now, that's good!
*yes yes, one is never alone with a kitty, I know.
I'm just jealous cos ours lives in the utility room & won't come into the kitchen

WristBoundLatexBitch · 26/10/2016 23:58

It's the loneliness that kills me. I have 4 kids that I love to bits but it's just me and them. I'm married but hubby is never here

OP posts:
saltededamummy · 26/10/2016 23:58

Does your hot water bottle make you want to pee, Latex?
How?!?

saltededamummy · 26/10/2016 23:59

Oh shoot... you mean a water bottle with drinking water in it...
As you were.

WristBoundLatexBitch · 26/10/2016 23:59

Heat near my bladder. It's what 4 kids does Grin

OP posts:
WristBoundLatexBitch · 27/10/2016 00:00

Haha you got yourself there as I tried to save you Wink

OP posts:
Wolfiefan · 27/10/2016 00:00

Hot water bottles slosh. Makes me want to pee!
And salted my 13 year old was awake a short time ago. Caught him reading a book by torchlight. Some things never change.
And teens supposedly have hormone issues (really?!) that cause them not to be able to fall asleep early.

BecauseIamaBear · 27/10/2016 00:01

Can't sleep just now... but not because of MH related issues.

Does it help if I fess up and say I have mostly gotten over my depression ? I come here to try and help folks because I remember what it felt like in my bad times.

saltededamummy · 27/10/2016 00:02

I understand, tho frankly I'm amazed I'm right!

Anyway let's all do some deep breathing to slow our brains down.
Slowly breathe in for a count of 3
& gently out for 6.
In for 3
& out for 6.
In for 3
& out for 6
