I want to cancel my skype and also facebook. I have googled. Sorry, I can't work out how to do it. I need to get rid of them both. Please, can anyone guide me what to do?

If I die (in whatever way), I don't want anything from my life to be traced or read about or broadcast. that's what I can't risk

Everyone has tried to help you, but I am going to be clear, most things are on a central server and so the police can get things that have been deleted, you need to ring the crisis team or go to A and E, where are your children?

VJayazzle · 20/05/2012 13:55

Hi read the third post down, here, it should get rid of your faceb

molepom · 20/05/2012 13:56

You will not be easy to find. I promise you.

Now lets get these details off skype ok?

One step at a time then we will deal with Facebook and whatever else is on your mind.

You've logged into skype,

I need you to click on the word"skype" on the top left hand of the box.

Hover your curser over the word Profile and another little box will appear at the side.

mosp · 20/05/2012 13:56

No, I won't do either. I've got the kids here. I don't want to talk about it. no one can ever help.

Sorry, it should get rid of your faceb

SarahStratton · 20/05/2012 13:56

Nobody will do that anyway, you're not famous. But you are not going to die, because you are going to listen to us and either call the Samaritans or go to A&E.

The Samaritans will help you calm down and think clearly. Then you will be able to cope with deleting your accounts.

VJayazzle · 20/05/2012 13:56

Gggrrrr Facebook account completely!

mosp · 20/05/2012 13:57

done that...

This is sounding sinister. Why would it be broadcasted?

Mambonumber4 · 20/05/2012 13:57

people can help, I promise, we are going through a terrible time, and I have loads of support, I know we can get through this and so can you.

SarahStratton · 20/05/2012 13:58

How old are your children, mosp?

molepom · 20/05/2012 13:58

click on "edit your profile" and all the information you used to create the account will show up in the main screen.

Mambonumber4 · 20/05/2012 13:58

You need to get some help for the childrens sake if not your own, they dont need to see you like this (I know Ive been there so Im not criticising you) and they need you alive.

mosp · 20/05/2012 13:58

9 and 11

OP posts:
mosp · 20/05/2012 13:59

done that

OP posts:
rhondajean · 20/05/2012 13:59

Mosp you can also phone nhs24 and they can put you onto somewhere local if you would prefer.

Nothing that has happened is your fault. But you are not very well right now and there are people who can help you.

Just so you know though, there is no way to permanently delete your Internet history so that the police can't find it, as far as I know. We can help you keep safe from this man, but essentially everything you put online you need to regard as potentially being there forever.

This is not your doing.

Where is your dd?

FamiliesShareGerms · 20/05/2012 13:59

Ok, first of all you're not about to die. Please call the .Samaritans - who really are non-judgemental and can give you proper advice about keeping yourself safe and help you contact the police etc if necessary. Please do that now.

Then you can work out what to do with Facebook etc when you are able to think through your options

Mambonumber4 · 20/05/2012 13:59

I bet they are beautiful, and a handful.

SarahStratton · 20/05/2012 13:59

Well, I'm afraid you need to put your children first. Not you. Now please ring Samaritans or go to A&E.

mosp · 20/05/2012 14:00

I'm already getting all the help that I can access. thank you for caring

OP posts:
rhondajean · 20/05/2012 14:00

Sorry you have more than one child, where are they both?

molepom · 20/05/2012 14:02

Now..

Next to everything you have given them there is a tiny little arrow, click on this and scroll up to the blank space and click on it.

This will set that particular bit of information to "not specified".

Let me know what you have gone through it all x

mosp · 20/05/2012 14:02

one is out at a singing rehearsal. the other is here at home, in her bedroom with a friend.
