I want to cancel my skype and also facebook. I have googled. Sorry, I can't work out how to do it. I need to get rid of them both. Please, can anyone guide me what to do?

Mosp if you want I will go through everything on your FB and delete the lot, friends, photos, comments, messages, everything, but you have to promise to ring someone while I am doing it.

OK, first thing to do it block him, then he cant see you on FB, while you do whatever it is you want to do with the rest of your FB, are you feeling a little calmer?

Dont panic, you can not delete a skype account after it has been created BUT you can delete everything and everyone on it, blocking everyone if you wish with a few simple measure I will help you with.

If you remove ALL of your personal details in your skype profile, no-one will be able to find the account.

If you want to forget about it all together and not have anything to do with it again, you can change your password to something obscure so that you may never be able to remember it again.
