ThanksThanksThanksThanks upward , even for you tht is - so pleased to hear it , though please have a contingency plan in case if you should feel very anxious whilst travelling-- I once or twice had to for help on public transport when very anxious , and people are usually very kind

Excellent that you have some food still, and I hope you won't have to wait long to eat

Thanks for update on the phonecall ... must be hard to answer the questions fully

Hope you feel better for your nap , shodatin

Support me taking the meds. :(

OP posts:
shodatin · 25/03/2012 18:25

Thanks for letting us know upward - I don't know how you feel about the support, but I'm glad you have some help at this difficult time. Maybe you'll be able to make some plans for tomorrow with a view to minimising some of the stress involved in getting to the hospital.

shodatin · 25/03/2012 18:26

And I keep forgetting, let's have some Brew Brew Brewwhile we consider things!

cityhobgoblin · 25/03/2012 18:26

oops really sorry , should have said "even for you that is brave "

Upwardandonward · 25/03/2012 18:42

Brew is a good idea. I don't want strangers coming to my house, hopefully be back after they've been and gone quickly hopefully.

OP posts:
shodatin · 25/03/2012 19:48

Can't you ask them for help getting to and from hospital tomorrow, upward? I don't like strangers coming into my house either, but it might be someone you know from the usual team, someone you already know.
All the best with the meds anyway, and I hope you'll feel more relaxed and comfortable afterwards. Please let us know how you get on with the visitor/s.

Upwardandonward · 25/03/2012 19:48

They are going to come each night to give me my tablets :(

OP posts:
Upwardandonward · 25/03/2012 19:49

I am :( because they didn't listen to my no thanks.

OP posts:
shodatin · 25/03/2012 20:26

I'm sorry you don't feel you can take the tablets, upward, as I'm sure life would be a lot simpler, and you probably wouldn't have to have the nurses at the house. At least you're still at home, and they will probably be only brief visits. Hope someone manages to reassure you that the drugs are going to be beneficial, and that there are no difficult side-effects.

Upwardandonward · 25/03/2012 20:34

I meant no thanks to them coming rather than to the tablets.

How are you doing now shodatin?

OP posts:
cityhobgoblin · 25/03/2012 20:46

AH, sorry they seem to have deliberately decided to override your choice there , upwaqrd Seems as though they want to use an element of compulsion to try to keep you out of hospital ... you may want to get advice on your rights from a local group branch of an organisation like MIND

Hopefullyn the workers will view it as helping you to take the medicine , rather than just coming to give it to you
Many sympathies on the thing aboissue of strangers coming to your home

Yes indeed, are you still feeling poorly , shodatin? I know you don't want us to fret . Have you been up to any emails/ calls?

The churchyard cat came to help me tidy up front gard , which meant a bit of a standoff with HF , but seemed to end amicably

I'm OK thanks upward, but wouldn't win any prizes.
I realise you meant a no to the visit, but aren't they visiting because you haven't been taking the tablets, so they'll be thinking you don't want to, for some reason.
Hope that makes sense, also hope you're feeling a bit better, and that you've managed to get something to eat.

Upwardandonward · 25/03/2012 21:42

I want to stay out of hospital. Voices are against meds, that's why they're difficult. I'm feeling quite rotten, but we'll see. Confused by them taking the tablets as I wouldn't overdose.

Goodnight all, and thank you for the support today.

OP posts:
shodatin · 25/03/2012 22:05

Goodnight upward, hope you'll sleep well and feel better in the morning. They wouldn't want to leave you the tablets in case the voices told you to overdose, having already told you not to take them. Glad it's all over for today, and hope tomorrow's much better and without any voices.

shodatin · 25/03/2012 22:10

I forgot to mention hob, been communicating less than usual today as just not feeling good, but will hopefully get some help tomorrow.
I can just imagine HF feeling put out as you socialised with churchyard cat! At least they don't fight. Will be off to bed soon, so Goodnight.

cityhobgoblin · 25/03/2012 22:19

Ah I see, shodatin , that explanattiont makes good sense . So sorry you're feeling horrid upward , and I think you do amazingly well to keep communicating & to try to do the best hings to look after yourself in spite of what the the voices say

I did think you were feeling unwell , shodatin and Thanks ThanksThanksThanks for being with us today . Good news that you'll get some help tomorrow , & plewase donb't forget we'll handhold if you need to consult GP etc , but not pry too much !

Hope you , upward , Nilgiri all sleep very peacefully tonight

shodatin · 25/03/2012 23:02

Thanks for the Thanks hob, and glad you've seen the planets with new moon, along with all the cats. Bed now.
Thanks for being helpful today and previously.

cityhobgoblin · 26/03/2012 07:52

Thinking of you this morrning , upward - so hope you won't find it as grim as you might expect , but agree with shodatin day hospital may take it as a sign of improveed judgement / management rather than deterioration if you ask for help with getting there , rather than struggling with what may currently be impossible

all positive thoughts to you , am much in awe of what you're trying to do

Hope you find some help today , shodatin < and that car won't be in garage too long

ThanksThanks and thank you so much to you both for excellent advice and friendly company this week

shodatin · 26/03/2012 07:56

Hope you're feeling better today, upward, and had a decent sleep. I'm attempting to contact surgery, as feeling worse & need to cancel blood test etc. Have a good day everyone, Brew, Brew, Brew and some of hob's wholesome snacks.

Upwardandonward · 26/03/2012 08:24

Oh dear shodatin :( I hope you feel better soon.

OP posts:
shodatin · 26/03/2012 10:06

I'll no doubt survive thanks, but hope you're feeling better upward, and manage to get to hospital.
