Merivel · 07/05/2012 22:20

Sorry been out so long - DM & I had lots to cach up on , but I kept wondering how you were, shodatin( DM loved your berberis )

HF and ndt are very good at sitting companionably when friends feel unwell- they radiate healing wishesSmile

ndt is currently walking the walls of his & , our houses , guarding most impressively
Brews

shodatin · 07/05/2012 23:34

Glad you had good chat with DM, Merivel, and hope you're not short of spoons this evening (and everyone else of course).
Thanks for images of both felines, v. comforting, as is Brew.
Goodnight all.

Merivel · 08/05/2012 00:03

Goodnight , shodatin ... wishing you a very peaceful sleep
< HF curls up at shodatin's toes whilst ndt sits protectivelyon her doorstep

Hope we're all at least somewhat refreshed , & if not , that we can have some inspiration in efforts to change seemingly stuck circumstances - I like kizzie's idea of trying to make changes which bring about an improvemment of 10%

< puts out hot choc for cybergardeners and fairies >

< brings out new consignment of blissfully soft rugs >

Nilgiri · 08/05/2012 00:35

Oh no, sorry you've been unwell today, shodatin. Hope tomorrow is better.

Upward, glad you've been enjoying the long weekend. Is it another busy week ahead?

That's marvellous about your current burst of energy, Merivel. Even if you have to pay for it later, family events and a day off with DH are exactly the times you want a little extra oomph.

Am trying to find a cheaty free online recording to listen to La Triomphe de la Republique - the date of 1793 is Shock. Not some retrospective piece or pretentious use of concepts the composer doesn't really understand, then...

M you have fine taste! I have a piece of veritable Whitby jet, shodatin. I think it's the first jewellery DP ever bought me, from a bloke who'd collected and carved the jet himself and was selling it by the harbour. This is dreadfully pretentious, but I wanted it because the plot of AS Byatt's Possession (a favourite read) involves two pieces of Whitby jet.

Nilgiri · 08/05/2012 00:35

x-posts for billionth time... Wink

shodatin · 08/05/2012 08:15

Another difficult day and await GP visit.
Thanks for good wishes - I can't find that music either as MW seems to have changed/not working. Lucky Nilgiri to have a piece of Whitby jet (not far from here; don't have any).
Wishing a good day all round; sunny here.

Upwardandonward · 08/05/2012 10:19

Good morning all. Here's some Brew to prepare for the day. I hope your Gp visit is ok, shodatin.

OP posts:
Merivel · 08/05/2012 10:22

So sorry still unwell, shodatinSad .... < cybergarden medal and strengthening vibes for GP visit > Sorry for not asking earlier , overslept(lucky me , obviously ) We're so hoping you will see positive steps with these hateful symptoms

I had a strong feeling about you and jet , Nilgiri ShockWhat a fabulous story your Whitby jet has !< peeks at exquisite pieces and remembers has meant to read possession for well over 20 years >

Hope you ffind your BoO less onerous than expected today, upwardThanks
Brews

shodatin · 08/05/2012 10:31

Thanks for good wishes and Brew upward, and hope you're having a good day, really appreciate all the positive vibes from lovely cybergarden.

Merivel · 08/05/2012 13:45

We're all sending healing wishes , shodatin , and hoping doctor can prescribe HCPs can try something to relieve your dicomfort a little

I can' believe I forgot to tell you how surprised DH & I were when on way to DN's birthday party , to get out of car & come nose -to-prickles with a magnificent shrub we are now able to recognisw as berberis - you weren't exaggerating in your paise of the stunning floweres , Nilgiri !

< blushes at linking to an irretrievable piece of music just 'cos it & composer sounded interesting >

Merivel · 08/05/2012 13:47

good grief , sorry for typos ( can you spot my cognitive processes have been even less impressive than usual in recent weeks[grin} )

Nilgiri · 08/05/2012 14:01

Sending you strengthening vibes for GP visit, shodatin. So sorry you're feeling so grotty.

Merivel, your mind-reading is scary! Shock Can you have a poke around for the memory about the old door keys, while you're up there?

Hope your day going OK, Upward. Do you have a lot planned?

I see no door keys so far , Nilgiri Grin Brews

Nilgiri · 08/05/2012 16:45

Thank you sooo much for update, Merivel, and for defeating technological glitches to let us know.

So very sorry you're in such discomfort [understatement], shodatin. Glad to know people are checking on you, even if not as often as ideal.

Nilgiri · 08/05/2012 16:52

( Merivel, memory about keys is probably in same place as memory of where I left bank statements, next to the Thing I Can't Remember At All But Know Is Important.Grin)

shodatin · 08/05/2012 20:05

Shodatin just died from embarrassment. Happy gardening and good memories to all.

Nilgiri · 08/05/2012 22:26

Hope you're feeling a bit perkier this evening, s! Ooh we're a rotten lot, aren't we?Grin

Actual sunshine and warmth here today, after wretched cold snap. Do hope everyone else has had sunlight to bask in, even if under glass.

Merivel · 08/05/2012 22:48

I'm afraid Nilgiri that I have caused shodatin to feel very far from perky and have PMed you and Upward - hopefully it works now

I am so , so sorry- will say goodnight and leave you in peace

Nilgiri · 08/05/2012 23:03

I've reported your earlier post to MNHQ, Merivel, and asked them to delete it. They're usually very good with such requests not that I would know as I would never stuff up a namechange, oh no.

(((hugs))) to all.

Nilgiri · 09/05/2012 00:19

No need for fire in the summerhouse tonight, as still warm. And there's a scent of lilac on the air at the moment.

Still some bird song in the cybergarden, though I think it's the thrush not the nightingale this time. HF and ndt curled up indoors, and the beagle snoring loudly, so songstress should be safe.

Sleep well all. Hope we all feel able to come back in the morning.

Merivel · 09/05/2012 00:19

Came back as need to thank you , Nilgiri , and all of you of course

Horrified at my stupidity causing shodatin such worry , especilly when ill

Will go now , with greatest thanks for joyous times and changed perspectives

Hope by some miracle shodatin can sleep , an that Upward allows herself some leisure whils fighting the BotO
