We filled up your thread, snowmash! So here's another one.

Neither weather nor circumstance seems to be cooperating at the moment, so I thought we could do with a virtual garden to sit out in.

shodatin has started work already:
"we don't lose anything to the frost here, and nobody thieves our daffs and precious bay trees. Most days will be sunny I think, but sometimes we have rain at night, particularly when we've done some planting..."

And I think it needs a summer house with a chiminea or the like to sit round after dark and toast our tootsies.

Good morning all, a beautiful sunny morning here oop north, but have to go to a monthly meeting for the morning.
Hope you had a refreshing sleep snowmash. There is an advocacy scheme run by PALS just for NHS patients, if you think this might help, otherwise please let us know what we can do, if anything. Ready to go to PO this p.m. if you let me have name/address for ward, just to make life a bit easier for you if poss.

Morning all, and sunny here too. Hope everyone got some good rest.

snowmash hope so much you're not in too much pain today.

hob yes please do put stuff on the other thread - lots of people watching it, I'm sure. Sorry I've been rather slack on this front - just got the latest Million Voices email this morn, and am slowly slowly picking through all the info (goodness you've been busy!).

Workman here today, so may not be very with it.

Hi all , hope meeting is useful shodatin & workmen not too intrusive, TIANC. Out for afternoon but hoping better news for snowmash.

TIANC, not slack at all - look at me who still hasn't managed to get to that thread today . True , v busy atm but will be more sensible soon!

Hope pixie gets some relaxation today.

snowmash, as shodatin says, we're happy to help eg by looking up info on net if it would use up your phone battery to do so.

Hope madmouse and kizzie well.

shodatin · 24/03/2011 14:30

Enjoy outing hob, while sun shines!
I made mistake about meeting date - it's tomorrow- so pottered round village shops and collected two more pots for (my) garden - one to replace Bowles Blue wallflower I lost in the frost, and the other yet another variety of poppy, Icelandic this time, which looks attractive to slugs unfortunately, and I only remember the eggshells after they've had a good feed.
Hope it's not too hectic with builder, TIANC, this is the time one could use the ever-full cyber pot of Brew.
All best wishes to snowmash of course, and hope you can have some relaxation in the sun.

Incredibly productive day: workman has in one afternoon put right stupid, stupid mistakes by previous builders - the builders I wish had taken our money and run as at least they'd have been off the premises and not causing damage. Shock

'Twill be life-changing, as we can get the home office sorted out. Which means we can unpack the boxes currently filling the bedroom. And so on.

Shattered but chuffed.

Hope everyone else's day going OK.

Very pleased for you TIANC, it must feel good to have part of your house back again; there's something very temporary about cardboard boxes (tries not to think of back of garage where I found curtains and liners packed away).
Today I changed bedroom curtains (and blackout linings for summer instead of thermals), very tiring job but def worthwhile as missed it last year.

Pixie, you deserve big pats on back for your organisational skills, and kindness, both good things for DD to pick up from Mum.

Snowmash, where are you dear? Hope you're having a better day, with some delicious hot and tasty meals at just the right time.

kizzie · 24/03/2011 19:27

Can I just add a line of excitement to your thread snowmash.
Today I noticed a little red dot on my MN inbox. (didnt even know I had an inbox.) And in it I found a PM from TIANC from a few weeks ago telling me about a new thread on MN !!!!
I realise in the whole scale of life this may not be exciting for many - but Ive been coming on MN since 2001 and Ive NEVER had a PM before. I do hope you all appreciate just how much this made my day Wine Wine Wine.

Sending sunshine to snowmash x

Hello Kizzie, thanks for posting and hope you're feeling well again now - I'd be excited too!

snowmash · 24/03/2011 20:28

Sorry, I'm alive. Necking tramadol, NSAIDs, and significant psych drugs increase during day as of today :s

Good to hear from you, snowmash. But not good to hear things are so bad. SadSad

Like Pixie says, is there someone you can talk to there? We really are very worried that if you come home all your hard work of the last few weeks will be wasted.

Sorry, being a bit useless here.

"Hang on in there" is easy for us to say. Sad

Thanks for posting snowmash. It must be so difficult for you. Let's hope drug increase = significant improvement.
Have to go now, but will be thinking of you. s Goodnight all.

snowmash · 24/03/2011 22:35

Not on nights - but need to find somewhere to put some of my tablets now as I kept them in my hand :( don't want to be poisoned

ThisIsANiceCage · 24/03/2011 23:08

So which tablets are you skipping? And does this mean your intake isn't matching what your record shows? Could lead the docs to make bad decisions for you. Oh love.
