and I can't do anything about it :(

Yep, we'll just hang around and natter, if that's OK. We won't make too much any mess, will wash up after ourselves, and you don't have to make conversation.

Do say goo'night and mornin' tho, won't you? Or we'll fret...

shodatin · 04/02/2011 17:24

Please don't just go away - we'll only wonder how you're doing, and would all like to know when you feel a bit better, however long it might take.
Will be around on and off until about midnight, same tomorrow, and I do hope you'll keep in touch.

snowmash · 04/02/2011 17:29

Please don't worry, madmouse.

I'm worried about this thread because everyone seems to be thinking one way, and I can't see any reasoning/logic for thinking that way (even if I think it's wrong, I usually can reason it).

I'm sorry snow, I didn't mean to trespass on your privacy and feel I have done so.

I simply thought that if we're neighbours, I may know you by sight and so on. I used to go get milk and stuff for my other neighbour who's elderly when it was snowy, and I thought of this in a similar way. I realize now that that was wrong of me and I was putting you under pressure. I'm really sorry to have done that and will now wish you well and get off the thread.

That's not what I meant.

LRD: either you've seen me around and you know who I am, or you haven't - your offer was very kind. The bit that's worrying me is people saying I'm wrong re: the libraries etc

OP posts:
JaneS · 04/02/2011 17:55

Thanks for explaining. Smile

I think I agree with them about the libraries. The way I see it, healthcare is a priority for everyone. If you need or want support from your GP, you should have it, just as often and as much as you need. We all deserve that, it is just basic.

NanaNina · 04/02/2011 18:56

Little red dragon - I'm sure snow doesn't want you to go away so stay in touch cus I think you are a help as are all the others here.

Snow - most of us have had mental illness (I certainly have) and sometimes if we get very poorly our thinking gets muddled and that's when we need extra help. You aren't hurting anyone. Can you believe that we are all worried about you because you seem so poorly and we know how scarey that is, especially as you seem to be alone.

Please stay and let us know you are ok even if you can only manage a few lines.

< DING! Barges back into room as has just had lightbulb moment>

snowmash, you've just changed anti-depressents, haven't you?

Vivid nightmares, sleep disturbance, thought disturbance and increased rates of suicide are classic side-effects for the first weeks of some anti-depressents (and not always as well acknowledged as they are supposed to be).

The drugs can work quite well once settled in, but the first few weeks are from hell.

And they could very well be affecting your reasoning along with everything else. If that's the case it's not surprising you're getting different conclusions from other people about the libraries - just while your body adjusts to the drugs.

balloonballs · 04/02/2011 19:11

Snow,
Just popping in to say hello! How are you this fine evening? I've brought a great big supply of crunchie biscuits if you've got the time to chat?

snowmash · 04/02/2011 22:02

Hope everyone has a good night.

OP posts:
JaneS · 04/02/2011 22:04

Yes, I have thanks. Hope you've been feeling better too - sleep well.

shodatin · 04/02/2011 22:36

Hope you do too snowmash, have a lovely sleep.

snowmash · 04/02/2011 22:48

I'll be staying up til I'm so tired I fall straight asleep.

OP posts:
shodatin · 04/02/2011 22:54

I do this too, and sometimes it gets a bit late. It is so windy here at present, it's pointless trying to sleep anyway, and I think the back gate has blown open too; never mind.

snowmash · 04/02/2011 23:24

Hope you get off eventually, shodatin

OP posts:
ThisIsANiceCage · 04/02/2011 23:36

Watching recorded "Is the Moon Really Necessary?" with DP - we keep stopping it to discuss bits.

Getting blown away here, too.

madmouse · 04/02/2011 23:41

are you asleep yet snowmash? My brain is totally overwrought, but I need to drive 1.5hours each way tomorrow so must sleep.

Hope your night will be peaceful.

shodatin · 04/02/2011 23:43

Thanks snowmush. Cage, I meant to watch that too, so hope there's a repeat.
Off to bed now I think, night all, sleep well

snowmash · 04/02/2011 23:49

I hope you get some decent sleep, madmouse - not nice when you're feeling like that :(

Sleep well, TIANC & madmouse

OP posts:
ThisIsANiceCage · 04/02/2011 23:49

Sleep well, shodatin.

ThisIsANiceCage · 05/02/2011 00:38

Right, that's me for the night.

Sleep well all. Hope you get some quality ZZZZs, snow. Madmouse, drive safely the morn.

ThisIsANiceCage · 05/02/2011 00:44

(X-posted w you above, snowmash, wasn't ignoring you Smile)

madmouse · 05/02/2011 09:41

Hi snowmash did you get some sleep? My night was a bit restless but I got enough sleep to cope so that's good.

Thinking of you
