I'm fine thanks, and glad I don't have teeth arriving, poor little pets

Hello TIANC, am still awaiting that big box of good weather, but I did manage to plant a new rose today, which made me think of summer. It will come I know.

Snowmash must be busy wolfing down three courses.

ThisIsANiceCage · 23/02/2011 13:01

Ooh, how lovely! What sort of rose is it? (Not that I know much about roses, you understand.)

Rose was a bargain, the old favourite Whisky Mac. In this small garden I only have one other, Compassion, which is one of it's offspring, so they should be c
omplementary in colour.

How old are the twin pixies? Still small, I guess.

madmouse · 23/02/2011 14:06

Afternoon all - Hi snowmash how are you?

Pixie double teething! and ds was an easy teether as well...

Just home from work, it's my half day on Wednesday but I spent a good 20mins downstairs in the staff entrance fixing my bicycle puncture and wrestling a huge piece of glass out of the tyre. Forgot who asked but yes cycle 5m each way to work - only 3 days a week since ds. I love my bike - independance!

shodatin · 23/02/2011 14:36

Pixie, you are so lucky, even though two must be more than twice the work. It must be fascinating to watch how they interact with each other, and yet you find time to post (and cook) too.

Hi madmouse, glad you got the tyre fixed.

Snowmash, I do hope you're alright; missing you.

snowmash · 23/02/2011 14:41

I like hearing about small twins - my mum insists she can never remember which of her six did what ;)

Food is very difficult at the moment makes me feel very guilty - but I can lose weight that is spare ( some of it is a bit rank too)

Did you mean the food is a bit rank Snow. It was pretty ghastly when I was in hospital but I used to get a seat by the window and look outside (it was spring and sunny on many days)and it took my mind off what I was eating. Mind the puddings were lovely and I am always buying crumbles and things now. What are your favourite foods?

ThisIsANiceCage · 23/02/2011 15:02

Cripes, are you one of sextuplets, then snowmash? Shock I thought I came from a busy household!

shodatin · 23/02/2011 15:06

Hi snowmash, please don't feel guilty about food. You absolutely have to eat right now, or the staff will be unhappy with you.
You could do a healthy-eating diet when you're back home, if you want to lose the necessary, but believe me, this is not the time to refuse food.

Sorry it's not very nice. Will someone bring food in for you? I'll send you some Hovis crackers if you wish....

ThisIsANiceCage · 23/02/2011 15:09

Glad you've fixed the puncture madmouse - at least it was dramatic and identifiable. Slow leaks, OTOH, are the work of satan...

snowmash · 23/02/2011 15:56

Twins but part of six, sorry

I am thinking about what everyone's said re: food

OP posts:
madmouse · 23/02/2011 16:53

please eat it snowmash - please - you need it and it is part of your ticket out of hospital.

shodatin · 23/02/2011 17:00

What madmouse says, and if you eat it, they'll stop watching you eventually.

snowmash · 23/02/2011 17:25
